I just got my Dsi about 3 days ago and i LOVE it! It's 10 times better than the ds light but idk i think the 3ds is gonna bo very well. I really think i might sell my dsi once the 3ds comes out so i can get it. I think the new games are going to be awesome RESIDENT EVIL! yes! I also hope that OLD normal ds games can still be played on it. and screw psp nintendo is the KING of gameing.
The only bad i see is the removal of the GBA slot(dont have to worry about that since I have a DS lite) and not being able to play .mp3 files, which was a bummer until I got a converter, but why is the camera .3 megapixels? cant it be a bit better? but besides that its good
the only reason I have ever thought about getting a DS was to play FF IV Remake but I got an emulator and the ROM online so I see no reason but a PSP on the other hand....I am stoke for. I had a PSP 1000 but my dad sat on it and cracked the screen HAHAHA XD lol good thing it was used and I got it for like 40 bucks with games. I deciding between the 3000 or GO.
This is disappointing, they take out the GBA slot. I would rather buy the DS lite than the DSi.
etai79 I love how many people are complaining that it doesn't play GBA games. Let me count the released Nintendo systems that play GBA games: GBA GBASP GBASP2 GBMicro Gamecube DS DSLite So the people are complaining own NONE of these other systems? when i get a dsi i will get legend of zelda spirit tracks because im keeping track of all the legend of zelda games from the first one to the last one(if there is a last one)lol
I got one for my bday a week ago. I wasn't really gonna pick one up myself just because i didn't feel the need to. but now that i have it i can see how nice it really is. i'm not too worried about it missing the gba slot simply because i have a gba, gbsp, gbm, ds (original), and a ds lite. I even have the gba expansion for the GC so i think i'm good. Not to mention i heard that theres a way to download your gameboy games onto a sd card and play them that way...might be homebrew tho...
If your happy with your Ds lite dont get a dsi. No Gameboy slot less bartery life iv played my friends dsi its not to cool
Oh yeah and I can upload music on my DS YAY! Better then a DSi with no music selections I am guessing.
No gameboy advance slot. Noooooooooooooooooooooo...... I miss that now I gotta decide if I should use my M3 anymore on my DS. I can already upload photos, videos and many other things using the old DSLite. Reason because I got my hands on an M3. So this is nothing new to me, and if anyone brags to me I don't care because I can already do what it does before it even came out on my dslite or non lite.

Since I'll be able to buy this for around $100 from gamestop of i trade in my dslite, I might as well get it.
wow the dsi looks so cool but remember if you have a ds and cant afford a dsi you can get a top toy or any other ones like games n music,R4, ds evolution and more, so you can play videos and music and games. but the dsi is still pretty cool!(i'm just saying to the people who dont know about it.)
nar just a ds with a cam and some stuff that the psp does better total rip in the credit crunch am i right

Because in the video shown here, it doesn't really show internet browsing, just the internet store for games, Edit: Oh wait nevermind, Just checked out the software guide, shows the web browser, with the image the the memory was running low lol, it seems that it can't even load gamespot.com, I am wondering what would improve the memory

I may wait and see. If they release some really neat games for the DSi ware store I may consider getting one. But thats only after they release the white one, the black and blue just arent my thing.

Mark me down for thinking that a .3 megapixel camera (wait, .3?) and SD card memory is not enough to replace my iPhone and DS Lite. When I see a next gen DS with improved game play features, I will buy it. Love the kids on this site.
Eman2t3, it is not a rip-off of the psp. Adding an sd card slot is a logical progression, as more and more devices become multimedia friendly. And how else did it "copy" the psp? Also, the sd card slot on the psp only uses pro duo's.
I can't believe it's only 0.3 mp. It would have cost them like 5 cents more to put in a cell phone standard 1.3 mp camera.
I still have my red fat ds. I am not buying the DSi becuase it is a bit of a psp ripoff. I mean even if it has a camera it is still crappy. I will stay with my psp. It now uses SDcards. I mean, come on Nintendo!

they have room for a gba slot but i guess they just filled it with a ds browser and extra ram and flash memory
i just got a dsi-gasm... btw dsi cases were out before the system was released so that wont be a problem. oh and xdeiri, get a life other than defending your overpriced ps3
