I picked up WarioWare Inc. by hearing about it through another review. It sounded like Nintendo had started to loosen up (or maybe lose their minds) with the release of this game and for the better. I had to check it out to see what it was all about and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at what a good game it actually is. There is humor abound, instantly addictive, and lots of fun and that is what a great game should be. There isn't a lot of depth here, but there isn't suppose to be. They are essentially very quick minigames, hence microgames. But these minigames seem to be better presented than in the "party games" of past. They are also tied into a story which is actually fun and not heavy handed. It will have you lauging out loud or at least a grin will be on your face as you play. Once you complete a level you can come back for more to get a higher score and it does get more challenging as you try to get that higher score when you return. There are over 200 games so there is enough replay but even with 200 games they are so well done you will be wishing there was more. This type of game reminds me of all the early classic arcade and Atari 2600 type games done up a lot better, faster, and with humor and quick reflexes. You will also find a lot of retro NES nuggests thrown in here for good measure. What are you waiting for go give this game a chance, while having a nostalgia moment it certainly is no retread this is innovative and more of what the industy needs right now.
