Wario Land 4 keeps all the components that made the series great originally.

Mario's arch rival, cousin or whatever you want to call him has gotten a good amount of games in the past decade. Wario Ware and the Wario Land series. Wario Land 4 maintains everything that made the series so great in the first place but adds updated graphics and sound. The onyl problem is that the core game isn't long enough.

Wario Land 4 adds stuff too. Remember in Wario Land 3 how Wario didn't have a health bar? Well the game was still pretty tough without it but Wario Land 4 adds a health bar. Also, at the end of each level you have to grab a bird/key and bring it back to a portal in the beginning of the level. You are timed for this so it adds some intensity to the levels.

Apart from that, this game is very similar to before. The levels are designed similar to how they would be like in a Wario Land game and the themes for the levels are great. Forests, toy boxes, etc. It's all here making Wario Land 4 a grand experience. The graphics are really detailed making the game's visuals the strongest point of the game. The sprites look pretty good too. The music is pretty great but there are some terrible voice samples. In the intro to the game there is singing but I don't even know if they're singing actual words.

The game is very long for a platformer and should keep you occupied for a while. There is a lot to do in the levels, bonuses and secrets to unlock. This will keep you hooked for a while.
