Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning GC '07 Gameplay Movie 8

jadelotuz, wow. yeah warcraft wasnt first...but wow being shallow, thats ridiculous. character creation has 10 classes and 10 races. 10 very unique classes, all with 3 different types (frost, fire or arcane mage)(shadow, affliction, demonology warlock)(etc) character creation is not shallow, and then the combat isnt either. and the PvE is very in depth, and the cordination with 4 or 9 or 24 other people on bossfights and mob pulls is pretty complex....you must have been a very casual player, VERY to not see what wow really has to offer....im an all out player since 2005(not really proud) and i can honestly say that youre 100% wrong.

Wake up and smell the coffee people. WoW is far more superior than any other MMO out there. Why would you get any other??????? I'm not saying War Hammer and other MMO sucks compare WoW but WoW is simply the best MMO and probably ever.

just like what i read from other reviews, the animations are stiff, that is very disappointing. This is new MMO it's suppose to be better, I love Guildwars for its graceful combats specially the assassin's animation its like every skill has a different movement. Generic and repetitive combat animations are just boring. But I'm hoping they will be improved somehow, because I'm already reserved the collector's edition for this game.

It could be that the players we were watching sucked, but the combat looked incredibly slow. I'm used to much more intense combat like GW.

This game is for the Kindergarten show and tell class.

Funny this with WoW vs Every other MMO game there is. And its funny that no one seems to know the facts. WAR is based on a Tabletop game with over 30 years worth of material, so the universe "should" potentially be far larger then WoW, but its hard to cramp it all in the game at release date! look at WoW when it was released. Didnt have much. Another interesting thing is that the Warcraft universe, actually is a clone of Warhammer Universe! And that this is going to be a WoW clone? nah, Mythic first game Dark Age of Camelot, was way earlier then WoW, and alot better, and of what I've heard, this game playes alot like DAoC, and not like WoW. No "one mousebutton" killalot like WoW. And just so that you know! I've been playing both WoW+BC and DAoC (and some other MMO games) for a while, and imo, WoW is the thinnest game of them all. It got some cool "Anime" style graphics, and its easy to play ... Casuall even! and it packed with other players, so its not hard to find a Group, and thats probably the only two things that great with WoW ... oh yeah, and the fact that you probably could play it on a C64, as the game doesnt have any high hardware "requirements", is also a major plus :) ... so why is WoW the thinnest? well let me put it like this. Avatar / Char / Toon costumization is verry limited, the crafting is easy but misses alot of stuff (like, no one can craft Bows? why? ever heard of fletching, like in DAoC), There is no Housing in WoW, WoW is almost only about PvP, the supposed RvR in WoW is a joke! etc. Now i dont know if WAR is going to be like this to :) ... as I havnt played the beta yeat. But if Mythic knows to take care of their legacy, then this should be rather good.

what the ppl that makes these games dont realise is one of the things that makes wow so great is that blizzard allow user created add ons so you can play the game a way your comfortable with, i had some hope in this game but looking at the vidoes the graphics dont look to good yeah wows graphics arent amazing but they have style, this just looks dull the charachters look sluggish and rather boring to play, i will still test it when its realeased. maybe its just the vidoes not showing much action, but they have a steep hill to climb if they want to hit even a small margin of the wow player base

I fail to see how this game will be better than World of Warcraft. It doesn't look as good, it doesn't look like it plays as good, it looks slow and sluggish, the character design isn't very creative; plus it's going to be a new contender coming out YEARS after WoW? And WoW doesn't seem to be losing players, it just keeps picking up more and more. Didn't Age of Conan try the same thing and it turned out to be a huge flop? Anyways, I think Wrath of the Lich King will be way more played than this game, but hey, the non-fun game play may appeal to some fans of Warhammer or to people who for some reason don't like WoW.

But what's wrong with it being like WoW? Honestly, I'd be more interested to play WoW2 than another poorly misguided "revolutionary" MMO. I'm very interested in Warhammer Online because of its obvious WoW influence. Improving on a time-tested formula is far from a bad idea.

It is complete non-sense to say that ... Wow is Pve oriented game, Warhammer an Rvr oriented game and Aoc is a vaporware oriented game.

I fail to see how this could be better then AoC...And no im not being a troll, in a way this is a question, what do people think is so awesome about this game compared to WoW? I personally think AoC is everything WoW isnt. A good game.

Hah after I played AOC and gave up after 2 months because the game was anemic and boring. I have played in the CE beta for Warhammer and the game just rocks. It has got me hooked.

Dudes!! wake up.. Age of Conan is way better than this game, beside some bugs, the fighting system is active, it alway keeps you in the fight. It is not like this game or wow that all you do is just click on the enemy and click some more spells and you are done.

Maybe i'm being picky but warhammer 40k online would have been awsome. Just with wow, age of conan and DAC. Kinda tired of this style. Yet game still looks awesome.
