A good addition to the warhammer franchise. Tactical strategy, requires skill and a bit of luck.

Warhammer games are a bit of a rarity on consoles. Also considering that the other warhammer game on psp was awful (battle of atluma). Squad command was a nice surprise, as it lives up to the warhammer series.

Featuring turn based strategy, the game has 2 factions (the chaos and the space marines). With vehicles like both chaos and space marine predators, land raiders and dreadnoughts. Weapons include plasma gun, lascanon and the good old bolter.

Graphics are fairly good, you can tell what the units are supposed to be. The game doesn't feature the best graphics on psp, but they are decent enough.

The gameplay is both addictive and challenging. The story mode is short, but the game has both gameshare, and proper multiplayer options.

Cutscenes are nice, but don't last very long. The story doesn't make to much sense, and they could have fleshed out the story more.

All said, squad command is well worth playing. Its the only decent warhammer game on psp, so check it out.
