I missed only one thing. Few seconds of mentioning which shooters are better to buy then. Anyone?

(sigh) I wish they just used these nice-looking models to re-vamp Final Liberation to nowadays standards.

For 10 bucks, this looks very solid. I'm getting it ASAP.

I'm sorry... all I heard on this review was "whine-whine-whine... I'm not dumplings..."

Yeah some things were weird design choices but I think the game was just a placeholder for the full retail game coming in September...it was fun though.

Why does everyone keep saying "get a fan to review" how is that an unbiased review if its a fanboy reviewing it. Then all you are gonna hear is "SPACE MARINES RAH RAH RAH 10 out of 10 BRO" Maybe we should do that for all reviews so that every game automatically gets a high score because its reviewed by someone with fanboy goggles.

God what the hell is the person announcing a guy or a woman...or both. Not to be offensive but that is bothering me!

I actually enjoyed the game quite a bit, but it's only for 40K fans and not really for dual stick shooter connoisseurs. No online coop is just lame and the drawn out and unskippable mission briefings makes replaying the game repeatedly really annoying. Also, why on Earth did they restrict the classes so much in the survival modes? That wasn't a good idea at all.

Idk . . . I really enjoyed it hahaha

I just don't get why they didn't make this into a loot fest action rpg rather than an arcade shooter. Waste of the best IP in gaming...

Carolyn doesn't know sh*t about video games, seriously. I mean, that review is not that bad, but it doesn't reach half the logical conclusions a real review would.

@DoomRider13 maybe she expected idk a better game. i know i was. And i am a true fan.

I wanted this game to play online with a friend.... i didnt look to much into the lack of online co-op as i thought the would be brainy enough to put it in :/. Oh well i guess i can wait till Space Marine to kill some orks...

My Dear Carolyn Petit, it's obvious that you don't like Warhammer 40k universe! Your review is so poor in quality and comments of value while you should remember yourself it's only a 10$ game so what do you expect seriously?! Let a real fan do the review and I'm sure you have at least one at Gamespot!

Carolyn Petit is still here? /sigh

Great game $10 isn't too bad considering you pay $15 for 3 maps in map pack DLC. I enjoyed it a lot. There is some variety in the game play of each class. It could have been better with online Co-op though. THQ really captured the design from the DOW series. I love what there doing with the 40k franchise.

WHY U NO ONLINE COOP?

Hm, I'll still get this when it comes out on the PSN next week. Reminds me a lot of Dead Nation, and I quite liked that game. And getting this will get me in the mood for when Space Marine comes out. :)

Still seems like mindlessly-good arcade fun, but I am eagerly anticipating Space Marine a thousand times more

I played the demo of this. It seems like good fun, but I can understand how it would become boring after a while.

bad review is bad. its a dlc gm thats basically just for pr for the sm game. for $10 this is a great value if you love the wh40k universe. Please get a fan to review the game next time.

This game serves but 1 purpose and that is to raise awareness of the 40k universe in anticipation of the space marine release, and it does that well. Game made good use of the dawn of war 2 models =).. all in all more 40k stuff always a plus.

am a sucker for twin-stick shooters so this will get a shot sometime in the future

@FlamingFury Space Marines don't have that tech due to the fact that they most often travel in smaller, faster vessels it's more usual and more effective to board and destroy the plasma cores.... hmm, I read to much black library :P On-topic, it's a bit weird not launching this for steam or even weirder with no online co-op one has to wonder what went through their heads there :P

I thought that this game was good value for money it's only 800 points, Thats like £5? The only problem is you can't play co-op over live. Only co-op on the same console. I feel the score is a little unfair, bare in mind it's an arcade game not a full game!

NoDzombie

game is fun in co-op, not reallly worth the price though in my opinion, once you have beaten it once there is very little reason to go back and play it again....

dutchgamer83

@FlamingFury because it would be a really short game if they shot the crap out of the orc spaceship during the intro?

Why send in the Kill Team? Wouldn't it make more sense to just use anti-space weaponry? They do have that tech after all.... Good review though.
