I tried the demo on Steam now and got hooked immediately. Haven't really enjoyed RTS games that much since WarCraft 2, Red Alert and StarCraft. But this was really fun actually!
DoW 2 has barely any strategy compared with DoW 1 so get DoW 1 first and really read up on DoW 2
I've never played this series, but I do really enjoy a solid RTS game. Looks like one that might be worth picking up.
i like kasavin a lot , he is the best RTS game reviewer the site had , he should come back , but now he's helping EA with command and conquer , my fave RTS series :)

looks good. not too resource heavy, which i like, but i have way too many games to play right now
