Although I have played all the games as a separate I still thought that I might add a review here for the whole thing. WH40K DoW is possibly one of the greatest RTS of recent years if not ever. Brought to you by Relic, the masterminds of Company of Heroes, this RTS is set in the war torn 41st century. This RTS has a twist though. IT focused less on building and gathering resources like in old RTSs (AoE) it focuses on you taking positions from your enemies and getting resources from that making sure that a fight is always near. The Winter Assault expansion adds the Imperial Guard and Eldar to the fight. With another fantastic campaign and good multiplayer that is a great expansion. Dark Crusade is good, although not as good as Winter Assault, which once again brings a new foe to the W40K battlefields. This time it is the Necron who join and, much like Winter Assault, all that is added is a new army and campaign. Although this is a good thing. Even today a bang a copy in and play just to see the Eldar squirm under the might of my Leman Russ's. If you are looking to get this then check out Company of Heroes aswell. It's the same game just set in WW2.
