    @Mariner32
    Sorry about that, I just looked it up. I had no idea there was a board game--

    The games are different, I'll give you that. But I'd ask you to get your facts straight, sir. True, Starcraft was made before Dawn of War II and even before the original Dawn of War. However, the 40K universe has been around since 1987, a full 11 years before the release of Starcraft...

    I don't know why everyone is saying this game is so similar to starcraft. It isn't similar. And also, starcraft didn't copy it, starcraft came first! Get you're facts straight-

    This isen't the first time blizz had a project being worked on and had copyright right issues for instance WoW was supposed to be a warhammer online but they had issues with copyright too.So blizz's warhammmer online became a WoW. Don't get me wrong i love blizz and thier games but i think i'm glad they diden't get a hold of this 40k.

    @BurningClouds The reason they are so similar is because Starcraft was originally going to be based on Warhammer 40K. The Terrains were originally going to be the Space Marines and the Zerg were going to be theTyranid, but this didn't happen because of a copyright dispute.

    They have resemblences because SC lifted (i.e. stole) everything from Warhammer 40K.

    hahahaha SC 2 beat it!! jk jk, i love this game too, and u gotta love the resemblences between the 2, however i do admire the cover function, when i use it, i automatically feel like there is actual strategy involved in what im doing, and u gotta love throwing nades into a building and blasting enemy troops out hahahaha Chaos rising was coool also

    He makes the single-player being more of an RPG sound like a bad thing, but it sounds pretty sweet to me. Well, guess I'll find out tommorrow.

    I wish it wasn't STEAM DRM'ed. I purchased a used copy and I couldn't install and play. I just went ahead a purchased a new copy instead which I think Relic deserves anyways. I've purchased all the DOW1 games and expansions in the past brand new and I loved every one of them. I should have picked this one up sooner. Such a huge improvement over the first.
