At first I was very disappointed with the multiplayer part of this game. Being a fan of the first Dawn of War games I am really into the resource collection and base building of strategy games.....C&C Red Alert started it all ^_^ Now we players just get a HQ building which is a "all in one" type thing. All units get produced here. It can also be upgraded to unlock more advanced units. Resource points still exsit, but for power only specific points can be upgraded with power generators. No turrets! No Relics to fight over
After a few plays I got to see just how good this gem can be without the need for building bases. Now getting the right units produced for the right jobs whilst strategically choosing your battle makes for a more strategic game. Which is just so much more interesting and intense.
