It's a decent action game, but it gets boring. Missions are always the same, and there are limited maps

Do I need to say it? It's a simple action game, not meant to be much else. The game has three modes, online, private, and solo. It has different 'systems' and 'planets' that you can play on, although do to a limited amount of maps, despite the numerous 'places', they all use 1 out of around 10 maps. There are three foes you fight here, 2 of the three have their own set of different maps. There's also a limited number of missions despite the 100's of 'missions' you can partake in. It either includes killing all the baddies, sabotage, or capturing someone, although on the last, it will often go to killing all the baddies.

Weapons

The game does have multiple weapons you can choose from. You got primary, secondary, and melee. The main point of the game is utilizing the primary and melee. The nice thing about melee is that there are a few different moves you can do, which each have their own devastating qualities. Each weapon can be upgraded using items that you can find on the missions. Each weapon is leveled. The higher the level, the more mods you can place on it. You can also fuse like-mods together to make them better, but this increases the number of mod points that one mod takes.

Co-Oping

Co-Op is the main thing of this game, however, most players just play for leveling and not for upgrading weapons and what not (which makes me wonder why they even play). Thus, they like to gun and run as fast as they can. This makes it more of a competitive game to see who can kill the most versus Co-Op. If you can't keep up, you likely won't get very many kills.

The mods that you need to upgrade weaponry is often found throughout the map, either hidden in lockers or in containers that you need to break open. They can be hidden good so it can take a little need to look around to get them all.

In the above cases, this is why I much prefer to go at it solo. You get more kills, it's funner trying to fight the multiple waves of baddies if you get caught, and you get all the points, which carry over to the online portion if you want to Co-Op.

The other issue with Co-Oping with complete strangers is the fact that, yes, if you prefer stealth, there won't be any chance of that unless you got someone who likes stealth as well. With that said, it does have a limited stealth mechanism. I'm not sure what the factors in it is, but I do know is that if you aren't seen, then you won't have all the baddies in the map come after you. You can also stealth kill, making it easy to get by without firing a rifle or pistol, or not killing it on the first go with your melee weapon. However, if you are seen, as long as you can keep the baddies from activating an alarm, you won't have any issues with the rest of the baddies.

Now, the interesting part is, if you die, you won't always respawn in the same spot. You'll end up respawning on the other side of the map. Also, it doesn't always restart the status, so if you died after trying to stealth it you may respawn with the alarm tripped, or it'll be tripped soon. Same thing if you quit the map and then come back to it. Being that, don't screw up the first time!

Other than those issues, the graphics are great, and it's worth a shot if this is your kind of game. It's free as well.
