War Times E3 2003 Preshow Report

War Times, a real-time strategy game set during World War II, will be exhibited by Strategy First at E3 2003. The game is being developed by Legend Studios, and it will include four playable nations: the United States, Great Britain, Germany, and the Soviet Union. Each of the units in the game has unique properties and capabilities, and each of the nations has its own strengths and weaknesses. For example, Great Britain is the only nation with radar capability, and it has the best defensive units in the game.

War Times features more than 80 different land, air, and sea units and more than 70 different structures to build. Weather effects will be a factor in the gameplay, and the campaign will be based on real historical events from World War II. War Times also promises cooperative multiplayer support in addition to standard deathmatching, and 20 different multiplayer maps will be included.

The game is currently slated for release in fall 2003 for the PC. We'll have more information on War Times as it becomes available.
