the 2 player mode is a heck of a lot of fun if both players know the moves and different levels. The gamespot movies dont so the graphics justice -- you can throw just about anything or use it as a weapon. You can climb buildings and bring them down to total rubble. The combat mechanics are not simplistic but not as complicated as a typical fighting game like Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive. You do have combos and special moves. I have very few complaints. The single-player game is fine but not a reason to buy the game. The computer AI is actually pretty good. There aren't many levels to fight in, and a few of those are just OK. However about 5 of the levels are excellent with a few suprises built into each. Like a building that will kill any monster that is under when it falls or a massive tidal wave in another level that makes you run for high ground. It would get a better score with a few more levels.
