Charming and Witty, Fright of the Bumblebees does Wallace and Gromit a Great Justice

User Rating: 8 | Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, Episode 1: Fright of the Bumblebees X360
I have always been a Big fan of Wallace and Gromit; I own all of their Films as well as both of there previous games. As soon as I heard that Tell Tale where developing several new wallace and gromit episodic games I was really quite excited! I loved what they did with the Sam and Max series and I was convinced that they could create a lovely Wallace+Gromit game; I was right.
But anyway here is my interpretation of the game:

Graphics: Nothing Flashy, Just really nice Character models that have a definite likeness to their clay counterparts. Even fingerprints can be seen on gromit to give a hand made feel.

Story:Typical wallace and gromit fare; and thats a good thing! In this Episode wallace attempts to boost his sales in his patented honey company by feeding his bees giant flowers! Unfortunatly this brings a rather large problem, Huge Bees!

Sound: Unfortunatly Peter sallis does not voice wallace in this game but luckily the sound alike they have is paticulary good and he uses all of wallace's trademark mannerisms. There is a lovely brass band score in the background which really adds ambience.

Gameplay: Challenging point and click puzzle solving. There is a lot of logic involved so some of the puzzles do seem intially tough but with a bit of careful thinking it shouldnt become frustrating.

Value: I paid 800mp for this and played through the episode in about 2-3 hours which in my opinion is good value, of course there is a ton of easter eggs to be found and i am now playing a second time round to get a few more of those tricky achievements.

Overall: An Great purchase for a fan of the Wallace and Gromit Shorts or just anyone who has a taste for a well crafted adventure game!
