That's not where the ball should have gone!!!

I've made the error of buying the game after only one good review in Gameranking.com. I should've wait.

The motion Plus accessory is yet another fun gadget that don't live up to it's promesses. Is it the game or the accessory? Only time will tell. But for Virtua Tennis it simply doesn't work. 1 time out of 3 the ball won't go or do what you were intended it to do. It becomes rapidly frustrating even if, unlike Grand Slam Tennis, it does return the ball even if it's not where you wanted it to go.

So there are good exchange but you begin to be frustrated after the third time you wanted to get to ball on the left side of the court and it still goes on the right side everytime. I'm not mentionning the services. After 10 hours of plays, I have found the way of not getting it out of court but my stroke is so mechanicly faked that it doesn't feel like I'm doing a service anymore.

And that's the main problem with this game. You might find out how to position your hand and do your swing to get the right stroke at the ball but at this point, you won't feel like playing tennis anymore so what's the point.

The Motion Plus Accessory is not able to decode real full stroke at the ball. Add to this the dull career play where you win every single match so easily that you will quickly get tired after a while.

Virtua tennis decided to go a road that might be better than Grand slam. Instead of copying your movement and having the player on screen reproducing it, it decode the type of stroke you did and adapts it to the play going on screen. While its less frustrating that Grand Slam, it doesn't feel like the guy on the screen is really doing what you're doing in your living room.

So all in all, pass this one and wait to see if programer will get a grip at the Motion plus accessory. So far I'm so disapointed to have bought my Wii....There so much Wii fit you can do in a day.
