I was looking forward to buying the game. The reviews were great, so what was their to lose. I went out to buy it the day it was out and couldn't wait to play it. I played the first match, and thought to myself, 'what is SO good about this?'. The gameplay isn't the only letdown of the game. The graphics weren't all that aswell. The character models look rather chunky, but some of the environments looked pretty cool. The fighting system could be seen as good for some and bad for some, me going with the latter. Yes, it's a great fighting system if you're looking for deep gameplay, but this takes away the fun. Games such as Mortal Kombat lack real depth, but games like that are fun, and i happen to be one of them persons who tend to like fun over skillful. Now, i'm not saying it's a bad game. You do have a little fun playing two players, but that gets boring. I will recommend this game to anyone looking for a fighting game that has depth. But a fighting game fan looking for a fun friday night game to play, this really isn't the game.
