Wasted my money.
nothing about it to like. In comparison to Tekken, Soul Calibur and I heard DOA is alright (never played if), it feels like nothing. Please tell me there is something else to the game. There is nothing fancy looking. Only one character I seem to like, but the fighting engine is ridiculous. Stucky movements, missing animations for throws and two buttons doesn’t cut it. I am just about to sell it to buy something really exciting Soul Calibur 3. I have Soul Calibur 2 Tekken 4 and 5. These games are superb, especially Soul Calibur.
Anyway is there no saving grace for this game. The side step system is ridiculous, one cannot attack while side stepping. The computer moves like comets and you can't even seem to pull off a punch. This game feels like something out dated. It as been driving me crazy to find out what is so good about this game. After experience the intricate engine of Tekken, and the fluency off soul Calibur, playing this game feels like a cord around my neck. Virtua Fighter needs a lot of work.
