This game is almost as fun as I remember it on the PS1 from 10 years ago. I guess the "real" reviewers forgot they were reviewing a 10 year old game with enhanced visuals. The complaints made by GS reviewers here are ridiculous. Few glitches aside, a 4.5?!? Come on! The game handles just like the original and that scored an 8 at the time. No one complains about the other old XBL games like Doom being too blocky or a simplistic shooter. That's because they are true to their roots just like this game. Vehicular combat games may be old but they are still fun to older gamers like me. The $10 price is good but I am hoping for more levels and vehicles in the future. It is a dumb-fun game. It is drive and shoot and it doesn't try to be anything more. If that doesn't appeal to you then don't get it. Fans of the original V8 games and Twisted Metal should look into it.
