underappreciated by many but if u just give it a chance it can turn out to be a surprisingly good time.

Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble is a fast paced beat 'em up that can be fun if u give it a chance. the game starts out with captain blue, along with sprocket, coming up with an idea for a movie and everyone from the first rwo vietiful joe games is going for the lead role. every movie is split into scenes which have objectives to complete in order to be the lead role like collect the most gems, defeat the most enemies, be the last one standing, and many others. At the end of every scene the player with the most coins wins the match. U get more coins by being the player who completes the objectives and u can also beat up another player in order to gain more coins. In addition to the large amount of scenes and objectives there are also an abundance of characters including the psp exclusive character Dante from devil may cry which is a welcome addition considering his cool ability to use the devil trigger move in the game. The only problem i have with this game is the cheapness of some of the story mode levels. In order to complete the level it has requirements u have to meet otherwise u instantly fail and have to start over which is hard enough when one of the requirements is to not die once. Other than that the high replay value and the abundance of the great characters from the viewtiful joe universe and some welcome additions from the devil may cry series, this game can turn out to be a surprisingly good time if u just give it a try.
