Viewtiful joe RHR is comic art and fast action. Confusing but still fun and impressive.
It might be confusing, but once you get used to it, is way too fun. This game is fast and it's gotta be played the same way. Multiplatyer battles are divided in missions, with some mini-game like extras. No doubt this is a button smasher, but when you play with non-regular-gamer friends, complicated control explanaitions is the less you want to give, you just want to have fun, and this game with so many stages can really give you and your friends a challenge, very different from another fighting game.
VJ RHR feels like a four-player arcade game (remember TMNT, Gauntlet or X-Men), it's fast and everybody can join in just to get some easy-to-play action.
About the look and feel, you won't be dissapointed, your favorite VJ characters are here, still with a heavy stroke around them like. Watching this game is really impressive, it's like watching a cartoon, enjoy the beautiful comic-style graphics. Also I've mentioned about the new addition of the VJ animated series clips which are very entertaining to watch. On the other hand, in some clips you can hear very awful songs, so I suggest to mute your TV when watching them.
This game is not a 10 but give it a chance, it's still fun and challenging. Fans may be dissapointed if specting a VJ sequel, but I think it's better than having another game that you'll only want to beat once. This is a Multiplayer and has great replay value. Conclusion: It's more a Dreamcast Power Stone 2 than a Smash Bros Melee. Just call some friends and enjoy it!
