Am i the only one who thinks its lost the whole "business tycoon" aspect, and gone more interactive for 3 year olds ? =/ Not sure i like the restrictive construction too. Fixed islands is a bit .... un-creative for 2013 "next gen"
lol Danny & Martin.
You may have started a new hugging craze, rather than ruining GS?
Need to get back to F1 now, despite Vettel leading. *Sigh*
I was thinking I might want this for an old school Tycoon experience, but I'm confused. He says that game is still there, but then later he says if you hate Kinect and/or casual games, you won't like it. If it's actually still a Tycoon game that just has the added ability to get down into the Kinect mode and do stuff, that's fine, but I'm not sure what to think now.
I was SO excited to hear there's going to be a new Zoo Tycoon game!...But wait!!.......Online/multiplayer mode?? * sighs *
Please just bring it to PC.
Zoo Tycoon was my childhood and a new game with nice graphics would be great but I'm sure as hell NOT gonna buy an xboxone just for this.
@hishamramzan its a microsoft game, might come out on PC in future but they plugging it for Xbox to get sales, but unlikely to come out on Playstation.
@sirchick its not about being "uncreative" its more about being able to execute it without using a mouse. One reason why there are so few similar AAA games is that control scheme is extremely difficult to implement using controller.
@9Dguy Yeah, I want it for PC too.
@varunviii @sirchick i was referring to the fact that zoo tycoon as well as many tycoons of the past used to be more detailed and much more complicated on PC micromanagement etc.
They removed all those elements that make it a tycoon game, you used to be able to build the animal enclosures with complete freedom this game shows pre-defined enclosures. Even though you can build tress freely outside of the enclosures. It' completely dumbed down. And zoo tycoon is not AAA title by any stretch of the imagination.
You can tell all budget went on graphics, next to no budget went on game play. For example you unlock things by getting a high ranking zoo. In the older days you had to spend money on research thus turning a profit was VITAL in order to grow...if this game is meant for educational on business side of things its a complete fail.
The game works best with a mouse so they should of kept to the PC platform and released on steam. It would still make money.
The whole "exclusive" nonsense basically ruined this particular franchise by forcing the game onto a platform where it doesn't work too well.
