Nice rip off of Zombieland narration, using that stupid tablet to play would be torturous for me, can't see the appeal myself and it don't look particularly groundbreaking from a graphics point of view, Nintendo used to lead the pack on standards, just seems like a number of years ago they decided to give up their throne and take a backseat turning out mediocrity.
Hmm, I'm not sure if this is going to just end up being a bunch of minigames facilitated by the tablet. I do like the idea of having to look away from the big screen to do tasks, that simulates real world actions, but I worry that the overall gameplay has been simplified into basically quick time events. I also have a strange feeling that things like zombies attacking are scripted to coincide with the tablet minigames. I would prefer more of a simulation approach, for example if I entered a room unseen and without making noise, the chance of zombies being alerted, and therefore an attack, should be low. However there doesn't appear to be a stealth/sound mechanic. Really it wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't really such mechanics, as those are generally not appealing to the widest audience, and more likely they have scripted most of the game for that oh so lovely cinematic gaming experience :).
as far as i can see, from other videos, there is only one melee attack animation. this makes me sad. I was thinking about buying a ps3 again as i kind of miss it, but maybe just maybe ill pick myself up a wiiu.
