Finally! I love the small maps of MW3, but the gameplay and nuisance of children is god awful! This will finally complete BF3's gameplay experience for me!

I can't wait for this, I love the smaller maps like metro and bazaar, they're the only maps that you routinely find incredible action and total strangers working as a team, which is what battlefield is all about. Big maps are cool, but there is no teamwork at all unless you're playing with friends.

I like how DICE is catering to everyone. I love my large scale battles, but, when I played with my friend on "Grand Bazaar" and we're holding down the long hallway with 4 guys versus two squads, with walls coming down all around us, and the other squads holding down the flanking position; I just had to scream this out loud: "You can't do this sh!t in Call of Duky!"

been playing bf since 1942 and i have to say, i'm looking forward to this freshness they are bringing to the series with CQC. that's not to say the large scale battles have become stale though

really now? are we that worried about this not being a "true battlefield" experience? Shouldn't we really embrace a game shines in all aspects of its gameplay, close quarters or open field? Why not have a game that is great at simulating a firefight in every manner (big or small), rather than just one. The fact that battlefield 3 will now be cater to both types of engagements is just more icing on the cake. And this trailer is eye candy. Other expansions are on the way. The game will grow and evolve, just as battlefield 2 did.

It's true that close quarters is not what Battlefield is about, but you have to admit that nobody does close quarters as well as Battlefield. I still get chills when I play on Operation Metro.

Why the hell would they release such small and close up maps on a battlefield game? So stupid...

I'll wait for some real battlefield dlc, not this crap that caters to the COD fanboys.

1 week early on PS3 because Sony filled EA's pockets. Same goes to you Microsoft for doing that crap with Call of Duty.

im not sure if i will buy these, i more enjoy the classic large scale style maps. It actually makes me glad that there releasing the kind of maps i like in one pack and the kind i hate in another.

Golly gosh darn yes this looks awesome. Sure BF3 is all about big maps but why not mix it up a bit and give COD a run for its money? Besides, I've always wanted a good reason to bust out that striker shotgun and now I do...

No. I hate close quarters combat in battlefield games. That's not what battlefield is about.

Looks great. I just don't want to spend $20 on it just yet.

Looks like they finally fixed the "Deathmatch" overbalancing - Team Deathmatch on cramped maps, Squad on sprawling maps. A step in the right direction I think!
