the thing about this game is, it does the wii justice, but i dont think the wii does it justice. if it were on a HD console it would have looked even more incredible! still an amazing game and i feel bad for all the people in US that won't be getting a release.
Is it just me or is the movement in this game really weird? You run incredibly fast, and the analog is really sensitive. I know it helps to move fast in such a big world, but in towns it makes movement very annoying going from npc to npc. There's no "acceleration" to the movement - you're either stationary, or sprinting. It also makes the characters look weird, running around all crazy-like. Anybody agree, or is it just me? I do love the game so far though - it's just this one quirk.
i dont understand why if they have this english version we cant play it in America????? can we buy it in canada or something?cant we buy it on the internet?
Go to hell Nintendo, how dare you refuse to give us Wii owners in the states a chance at such a quality game. Why do you punish us? WHY? We should all just refuse to buy the new Zelda game coming out as a sign of protest.
Watching this is as close to playing this as I'm ever going to get, it seems, so I just want to say a big ol' thank you for doing this.
Keep 'em coming Kevin! I'm pretty pissed that we're not going to have the chance to play this game in the States...
Back in the day, my friend told me FFVII was the greatest game ever, so I sat and watched him play it: at the time, it was confusing and boring and I told him so. He *made* me borrow it. Safe to say, like everyone, I played it, loved it, and have loved RPG's--especially the Final Fantasy series--since. That's the problem with this video. It's incredibly dull to watch--especially the tutorials, which are boring regardless-- and, just like a typical rpg, the script isn't very good. I can't believe there's more than an hour of this.
Glad you did these videos. If I'll never get to play this game, at least it's fun to watch you play it. Loved watching you die over and over
Last thing Kevin, leave the bosses for later, when you more powerfull you can come back and defeat them easly.
My advice to you kev is not to grind w/out quests as it's more efficient and saves time. You'll double the xp with those in same amount of time.
@Kevin-V Have played it and it's a great game. Note that you can actualy choose an option on the Heart to heart to improve relations. Shame many people over in the US can't play the game.
Kev, you stopped when the game was just getting good! Awesome game though, about 20 hours in and it's been getting more attention at the home than Human Revolution in the past week.
The combat system goes from really simplistic and easy to quite deep and involving, it's very impressive. It's awesome using good team work to beat the hell out of a giant monster
