In the years that I've played World of Warcraft, I've seen maybe ONE kid playing in my end game. And he was bad, removed from raid, etc. Stop being narrow and think hard about it. WoW will never be for children. Do you see "World of Zoo" in the bottom left corner under "games you may like.."? No. Because World of warcraft has no relevance to children's games.. You seem like an intelligent person, so please remove your head from your colon and approach with a valid argument. NOT the useless blithering of others around you. Gore and blood does not appeal to everyone.. And the game is tailored to a variety of audience. Not just those with the thirst for blood, flying appendages, and spleen squishing goodness. Go play Mortal Kombat for that garbage.

I have to agree with bokela, with a PEGI 12 ('It contains: Non realistic looking violence towards human characters - Mild bad language'), WoW is definitely aimed at children. Quite a few of my friends allow their children to play it because it's so innocuous. But unlike bokela I think the graphics look great.

If there is one thing i can say for certain (because i played hardcore for 3 years) is: Wow is definitively not for kids. Put a kid to raid and he will be in tears in 5 minutes.
