Besides all the rumours, I wonder when they will put a second vídeo output ( HDMI ) for a second TV screen so we can play with TWO Tvs ???? Racing games, Shooters and other types would be awesome to be able to play that way with our friends at home !!
They have the DUAL IMAGE 3D TVs already for "Split screen" games, why not a second vídeo output like the PC guys have ????
Share button sounds conveniently neat to me! Hopefully a bit more comfort and shape to hand a la 360 controller and I would be totally satisfied.
Urch, a "share" button? I don't really care about social gaming. I don't care about connecting my game progress to facebook or linking my PS4 with my phone or whatever.
I'm worried that this obsession with social gaming is just a lot of noise to hide the fact that a) they don't have much faith in the hardware, or b) the graphics leap between generations isn't going to be as big this time...
BEFORE christmas...? GTAV will come out 25th of september. dont think we'll see the next gen xbox and PS this year. but hey we'll see
@jsmoke03 amen to that
... or c) it's just added functionality. I too have no need for it, but if it has enhanced functionality at no cost to the hardware we all care about, then no biggie.
But I too share your concern, in that social gaming could become the downfall of technically advanced gaming hardware and games. And that future consoles would become nothing more than an expensive telephone.
@tom_cat_01 I 'share' your concern. lol.
I guess all we can do is wait and see. In the other article, that Microsoft 'insider' was really stressing how much the winner of the console war won't necessarily be the one with the most powerful console. So, who knows - maybe he's just afraid of something he's heard about the PS4?
@Devils-DIVISION @tom_cat_01 Excatly. With games like Angry Birds being so relatively cheap to produce,but making such enormous profits, you can see why publishers are becoming more and more interested in social/mobile gaming, and less interested in the expensive art direction/music/graphics etc. that make up AAA titles...
@WCK619 yes.. my bad :)
