this is what happens when snoop dogg says yes to everything. he kills hip hop and any genre he is in. snoop please stop saying yes to everything
Conceptually, it could have ben a good game, Elite Beat agents, with awesome fighting mechanics. However, watching its execution, it really faild to hit its potential.
Wow, a dumb rap fighting game with some drugged out has-been who has to change his stupid name like that other idiot, Puff Whatever. Pass on this fail.
I also want to add, they could of just made a Black Dynamite game, gameplay not like this of course but I rather play a true badass or make a sequel to Def Jam FFNY, no, icon doesn't count.
This game sucxs, just my opinion. Hope it sells for like $20 dollars cause it ain't gonna make no money.
"...and that's why we're stuck here playing this now."(1:09m) You know it's going to be a good episode when you hear something like that. Thanks, haven't laughed that much on a NP episode ever. It really was horrible.
They just should have made a dance game or something. Or a free roam weed game since they like the GTA art style so much.
Felt like the guys playing the game were more focused on cracking jokes and clowning, instead of giving the game a true chance.
Give the game a chance before you criticize it. If you don't like rhythm games you won't like it, but I feel there is a lot of dislike for the game because Snoop Dogg helped co-produce some ideals on the game. Just shows some levels of racism still exists today.
Well, I've got to say, this game is a good example of why I hate QTEs. The player is so focused on trying to hit the right buttons, that the game is telling them to press, they don't even get to look at the fighting happening in the background. It's one big QTE.
Wow! So far out of all the lets play videos i've seen of this game from Kotaku and IGN, Gamespot seems to be playing this game far better than the others.
@AjenoMerveilles Just make sure it's the super bargain bin. The type of purchase where later you realized... "wow I was really really high, but it was 5 bucks."
@grin89 might be an okay game
@mocityboy23 your right but to be fair this game looks painfully awful
@mocityboy23 This piece of shit doesn't deserve a "true" chance.
@mocityboy23 You thought long and hard on that one or is it just in your nature?
@mocityboy23 Not liking Snoop Dogg constitutes racism...? That makes no sense...
Personally, I don't like Snoop Dogg for a few different reasons, but the color of his skin was never a factor.
@xsonicchaos @mocityboy23 Yeah. I did actually. Go do a little research on how many games co-produced by hip-hop artists got decent ratings. Throughout the commentary they just cracked joke and made off the wall comments, without really giving it a chance. Did you think and research before you made your comment or was it just in your nature criticize my comment?
@Jaxith @mocityboy23 No it doesn't. I don't like the image Snoop Dogg portrays; however, we can't say we don't like him as a person, when we have no ideal what he is like when the cameras are not rolling. My point was no one is giving the game a chance and dissing it because a rap artist helped produce the game, and most not all all hip-hop artist tend to be African-American
@mocityboy23 @grin89 Did you really just put Legend of the Dragoon next to this Snoop Crappin, not crippin, no no no no no, just straight crappin, all up on your tv and guess what.........he still making musik! Go figure, but honestly how high do I have to be to buy this with so many great titles I haven't finished?
@mocityboy23 @Jaxith You're still making a biased generalization though. Your argument basically amounts to "There's this pizza. The pizza is hated. Most pizzas are eaten by turtles. Most turtles have spots. Ergo, pizza is hated because of the spotted turtle hate." Of course, the pizza in question was also in the sewers, which might be the real reason people don't want it, but that thought is left quietly off to the side.
I honestly think that people just don't see anything they like in the game, and are off-put by the apparent self-gratification of Snoop portraying himself as being able to knock MMA fighters on their rears.
