We tackle your questions about hacking, guns, emotions and the sustainability of the franchise regarding Watch Dogs in this epic episode of Ask GameSpot.
Did you enjoy this video?
Just wondering if we can f**k a pig then hack into the farms organic website to report the act?
Do you get to hack window cleaning platforms on the sides of buildings and squat down at the top to unlock portions of the world map?
Will the free Nexus 7 *cough*bribe*cough* given to journalists by Ubisoft at the Watch Dogs preview affect the review score?
Sup Chris and Shaun,
I think its pretty awesome how everyone has their own personality and look in this game. I can't help but to wonder how many different AI there are living in this world of Chicago. What do you guys think? Very cool Ubisoft, I can't wait. ;)
Is this game at all inspired by the TV show "Person of Interest"?
Can you pay for hookers and then hack back your money from their account?
Will the civilian AI be more intelligent and sensitive than, say, those of GTA?
Well by what I see in game play I will not be buying it.
Are the cars in the game customizable??
They still haven't shown xbox 360 version.
Are Ubisoft trying to hide something from us?
my interest in this game keeps going up and down. I'm leaning towards getting it.
Did anyone else notice that the NPC shown at around 1:36 in the video looks like Walter White?
Thank you Shaun and Chris :]
and you have a TTT2 arcade machine there :o
I just wanna know if the city is big and if it has enough stuff in it to make it feel lived in and not just empty.
My question - I find Ubisoft a terrible and reprehensible company. I have avoided purchasing anything by them for a few years now except Trials Fusion, because screw you Ubisoft for buying Redlynx and I love Trials.
The only reason I am considering this game is that it's set in Chicago and I live in Chicago. How detailed in the actual game geography, is it meticulously detailed or just an artist interpretation ? I want to finally be able to walk around and do crazy stuff in my hometown without the chance of getting arrested. This greatly interests me. Can this game overcome my dislike for a company with such horrible business practices or should I pass. I am going to buy it used so Ubisoft doesn't see a dime if I do decide to pick it up.
Um, did you say "hack a lot of sh*t"? LOL
Getting tired of the plants vs zombies ad...
How can i play on PS4 this open world
is that an iphone, apple sucks? and the combat looks horrible.
hey gamespot, my question is...
why are dogs noses always cold?
Multiplayer seems like its gonna be a dissapointment. Just like how GTA:O
was for me unfortunately
Not actually followed this game but does look good. What version did you play?. I will be getting it for PC and just wanted to no the performance.
Will this immediately be on The Shaun Method? Because it looks like it really, really fits.
They're not IGN :)
@nayce54 Yes! Wait, you're talking about real-life, right?
@nayce54 For the most part, no. But civilians do some interesting things, like when you steal their car they'll often call the police on you. You can either drive away or hop out, snatch their phone, and throw it to the ground.
@nayce54 I hope so. The civilian AI in most open world games basically sucks. However, I'm thinking maybe we won't see much improvement until these games are only next gen. Then again, I'm currently playing Infamous and the civilians have basically no AI in that game :).
The other issue might be that people just don't care and so they will never really put much effort into it. Personally I do care, I want to see civilians reacting to my actions in more complex and/or believable ways, and I also want to see them doing more day to day tasks, more stuff happening with them.
@Trevorbangbang Don't think so.
@Trevorbangbang NOPE. I can't provide a link but I know I've seen this mentioned several times now.
@quinnd6 Yes. Specifically, they are trying to hide the Xbox 360 version.
@mikhailv He seems to have let himself go. It'd be great to find a Walter White-eqsue character walking around in watch_dogs who if followed would lead you to a cleaning company. One can only dream.
@Space_Paranoids I don't think it's a building for building replica. They've said that it's not a huge world like some other games because you won't be flying around over big empty spaces. Rather, they've tried to create a very dense world where you can have something to interact with nearly everywhere you go.
As for whether you want to give Ubi any money, it's up to you really. I'm not really a fan of what they're doing with all the piecemeal content & season pass & I'm certainly not a fan of how they've thrashed out Assassin's Creed games year after year but I'm really looking forward to this game. If you're planning on buying used anyway, I'm sure all the details you want will be known in time.
@RussellMartin you mean: you used the word sh*t just once? lol
@RussellMartin AdBlock, my friend
You buy the game.
@kovaras1984 Heat of vaporization. Google it.
@kovaras1984 cats too lol
@skipper847 Played the PS4 version. That appears to be the only version Ubisoft has been showing to the press. Interpret that how you will!
@Afinati Way ahead of you! :)
@shaunmc @nayce54 USB suction machines under the desk. Invention 7,000.
@shaunmc Oh man, that's great. hahaha I'm really looking forward to Watch Dogs and that's gonna be awesome to snatch peoples phones and throw em to the ground.
@nl_skipper Too bad!! :)
@thegamegod @mikhailv "I AM THE ONE WHO HACKS"
@lucasclayton @RussellMartin"what is internet's biggest illusion?" "Adblock, my friend" hehe :P
That's a thing!???!!!??! How do I do it?
I cant find it in the ps store
@shaunmc @skipper847 Let the console war commence!!
@LucentWolf @shaunmc Lonely Island anyone?
Google is a thing too. Welcome to the World of Tomorrow!
@alaa_sti not sure if trolling or just stupid... it's not out yet.
