Err, sorry to be a complete nerd but Rogue wasn't a PC game but a UNIX one. Which is why the controls for Rouge and the games it directly spawned (Hack and NetHack) are based upon the VI editor commands (i.e. h, i, j, k for movement). It wasn't ported to the IBM PC until about 1984 (according to Wikipedia). Nice vid though. I've been a fan of roguelikes since I first played Rogue on HP-UX computers way back when... Oh, and vi is still my favourite editor.
