I'm not sure why the episodic paradigm works with games. I don't read a series of books until all the books are done because I hate the interminable waiting for what is next and because I almost always have to start over again when the new book comes out. The last time I tried was with Robert Jordan and I got about 5 books into the series before realizing he was going to write forever... then he up and died before he finished. The point being, if you start a game series (or book series) before it is completed, you often have to start over so you have context for the new material and every time you finish, you still don't have any closure. Why don't people just wait for it all to be done then get it all at once, probably for a discounted 'bundle' price?
Um.. I.. Just... wow
I'm REALLY not sure if I just needed to pay more attention or if he tried way to hard to make the review hit every marker of the traditional classic college text.
My brain hurts and I have no idea if I should play the game... or stop playing in general.
@Lord_Asmodeus well if it was carolyn review, just add a +1.5 to the review. she always gives a little worse score than the game deserved :)
