I hope all who says the graphics sucks own a 3ds and have atleast played the demo. If not, then dont comment.
i loved lords of shadow, so this was a no brainer for me. it's not the most technically proficient 3ds game (framerate issues and some long load times) but it's a solid entry in the series and has held my attention for the 9 hours i've put into it so far. of course, this really is a game that only would appeal to LoS fans so i'm not sure how successful it will be for people who wanted another 2d metroidvania game. but if you know what you're getting into, it's worth at least a rental
Yeah, graphics, something about graphics, and graphics. It's not on the xbox360 so i'm giving it a 3 out of 10 without playing it.
Great review, Peter. Despite the score of 7.0 the game still looks to be quite a bit of fun. Makes me wish I owned a 3DS. I guess it's time to re-play Symphony of the Night again!
@Berexar graphics don't make a game.
@Gambit500 i actually liked some of the later ones more, since they added to the groundwork SotN built. dawn/aria of sorrow are both on par with with that game in my mind
@Xanitra me too man
@diskotheque you know there are 6 other portable castlevania games between the gba and ds that are also really good castlevania games right?
