Vanquish Shinji Mikami Interview
Check out this interview with Shinji Mikami from the Tokyo Games Show about his new game, Vanquish.
This game is so intense! When I first finished the demo I had to start it again immediately. Great graphics awesome action, and should be a good story. I like that they choose not to include multiplayer. To many games tac on multiplayer, and end up taking away from the main game for no good reason.
not bad, i'm sick of shooters but at least this has crazy boss fights in the Japanese style. The AI seems goofy at times but i might buy this despite the wretched voice acting. lol what he means is, "we dumbed it down to dvd level and XBROKE, so the game will once again be 1/3 what you should be getting thanks to Monopolysoft... that and we're too cheap to give PS3 users a full Blu-Ray 25GB game" i'll probably wait until it's $20 used and buy it, it's not worth $60 to buy dvd ports from XBROKE.
The demo of this game is awesome. Very fast, fluid, and hectic action. If Gears of War made sweet lovin' to Bayonetta, it's baby would be Vanquish.
I usually hate the games like this, but somehow I've already ordered VANQUISH. I was surprised myself how much I liked the demo.
This is like a Nextgen Monster hunter... or a manly Pokemon, lets all admit that it looks impressive but its too ikisamotoyakasumajapanese to me
you know great games don't have to have multiplayer. multiplayer should always be secondary to the campaign in my eyes. i'm actually really glad that vanquish isn't corrupted by the post mw obsession of a level up multiplayer. look at dead space 2. why did it need multiplayer?
Good that he gave a reason for no multiplayer...if this IP really takes off, we'll undoubtedly see it in a sequel when they have a chance to really work on it. Just look at Assassin's Creed - multiplayer hope is not lost
i can live without multiplayer as long as the game is well designed and is very long to keep me hooked
