What a guy hahaha. Shame what happened with Forever but I didn't expect it to be good being honest, when a game changes hands that many times and it has to keep being changed over that many years it's quite obvious what it'll turn out like =P
Would have been much better to just give it to an upcoming Indie dev and let 'em start from scratch and then just have John St John do a good job on the dialogue instead of it sounding forced and cringe-y.
I hope there'll be another one like Time to Kill, that's my favourite Duke game especially the soundtrack.
Just like in acting. A lot of actors after doing a really iconic, get stuck with that persona. And after that they can't detach themselves from it, a lot of time they end up hating it. Like Sean Connery and stuff.
- Duke Nukem Forever was great! Keep up the good work.
- DOTA and WOW can go suck a lemon.
- Duke Nukem 3D is a legendary game.
I would have no idea he was Duke when he speaks in his normal voice, so yeah I think he definitely can do other voices without people thinking or realizing it's Duke.
Gotta say though, if there is going to be an R rated CG film, Deadpool should be the first. After seeing that test footage, I'm SOLD.
Nothing but respect for this guy who voiced one of the most iconic characters ever.
I really hope a proper Duke return happens this generation, as the overhauled and re hauled x10 DNF had zero chance of being good as it was in development hell forever.
Hail to the King baby!
