This is why we have all these heads of dev teams quitting big name corporations, that last little clip at the end was made by 3 people in under a week just contributing a few hours per day, if that. You no longer need an entire studio of 50+ people to create something of great quality. This type of technology is going to be great for the industry by letting more indie devs hit the scene RUNNING and come out with a lot more creative and diverse games for us. I can hardly wait to see the results.
I'm wondering if they are expecting to make most of the money from the subscriptions or the royalties. I can imagine lots of people subscribing but very few games that ship and also make enough money for the 5% to be anything substantial for Epic.
