I don't get gamers. In the 90's gamers understood genres. Gamers today don't any more! Oblivion is an RPG, so it's a clone of Morrowind, is it? Oh and Morrowind is a clone of Daggerfall, is it? Oh and Daggerfall is a clone on Arena, is it? Of course not, they are just all part of the same genre! Two Worlds has a right to be in the genre as it is an RPG. Baldur's Gate is entitled too, as is the Ultima series, the Wizardry series, Darklands, The Gold Box Dungeons and Dragon's games on 8 bit computers in the 80's and even the Rogue type games from the late 70's! It doesn't matter if it's first person, third person, isometric, turn-based, real-time or even top down, if it has stats and attributes, inventory and NPC's, quests and levelling and the ability to play different classes, with different stats for each class, it is an RPG. Nothing is a clone of anything. It's just different stories within the same genre. Like Call of Duty and Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay are two stories within the Action genre!
this is not really a bad game but quite short and they do NOT steer you away from the main quest any more than Oblivion does. they aim you to it and place fewer side quests in your path. it is a light version of Oblivion (very light) kind of fun but not hard in the least and not over filling. it is like American beer - it will not quench your thirst
"The Most Epic Game of All Time!"......."Y'know, except for our sequel which is much better than that crappy first game we made."
Two Worlds Epic Edition is available at GOG.com for only $10. They've even thrown in all the patches for it. The big difference in TW and Oblivion is: Oblivion kinda veers you toward the main quest, where as TW practically encourages you to go your own way. I'm highly considering downloading TW via GOG.
yeah right, these guys must have been on crack. the most epic rpg of all time? are you kidding me? the lore is crap, the quest line is bland, and the ending is horrible. and you cant even play once you beat the main quest! the main evil force is called "the taint" how lame is that.
The gameplay looks like Gothic 3,and the ambient is the same of Oblivion. My Favorite RPGs on one game. I liked it
