I highly recommend this game. It really draws you in and the pacing is great. It's right now $20 on Steam but there are often sales (I got it for less than $3). Keep an eye out on this one if you're looking for a great platformer.
A perfect fairytale in all it's meaning. Beautiful graphic, ear-pleasant music which really goes up with the ambient and with the story. The story, again, takes us into this fantastical world(naive, but also so nostalgic). Simply, way too beautiful to be described in 4 sentences. :D
I had it in my shopping cart on steam, then clicked over to Firefox, when I went back 10 seconds later to steam to check out it had changed price from $5.00 ---> $19.99! lol guess I'll be waiting till the next sale
Just saw it on Steam. And as soon as this review started, I thought, "Wow. This looks just like the Lost Vikings, only updated and with a medieval art style." And then he said it toward the end of the review. Nice. I loved Lost Vikings. That was a classic game, and great fun to play through with some buddies, too.
amazing visuals, the PC version is 19.99 now, so PSN and PC have the same price. This universe would fit great in a MMORPF but its already cool as a sidescroller, I'll get it for PS3 next holiday
This is one of the best and most beautiful games ever. But I have to play it alone to see it's greatness. Also I played through it on hard mode... I could also say this is the most beautiful game ever. You need to see this.
comes out on PSN on Oct 22. If I have enough cash leftover from Uncharted and Brutal Legend, I'm picking this up for sure. You don't see platformers like this anymore
I think I'm going to pick this up when it arrives on XBLA. This looks like a game that would be enhanced with online co-op. I'm suprised it only had local co-op on PC.
I hear alot of complaining about the prices but now its 22$ on steam, i highly recommend this game if anyone ever played the masterpiece The Lost vikings....man brings back memories when i was a kid. Heck im even dowloading it right now on steam. so run and get before the price goes back up, hurry!!!
Kevin! I thought you had declared you would make no reference to Lost Vikings on the Hot Spot! Meh, oh well.
dudefist yes, i tried in on some laptops and it doesn't work, you need shader model 3 and physx enabled cards, (9800GT and above apparently)
sorry to fall into the old game comparing trap but i feel it has to be said aztake really is superior to this game !!!
this is game is coool__ just like that bionic comando rearmed the 2d vers __ next gen 2dz are more cooler eh
I don't see what the problem is with the price, £20 seems fair enough. My criticism is that this looks more like something you'd expect to have found in the 90s. For a 2D physics based puzzle game I think I'll stick to the fantastic .
The demo is awesome but the price is far too much what I would pay for it. For $19.99 we could start talking, but $29.99 is a steal :P
It looks cute. Been a long time for me having played a platform game, guess Commander Keen was the last one. I'll have a shot at this one, just for old times sake that is.
this game looks great. But its for PC, PS3... not 360... its only like 600MB. So what gives. Maybe Lives strict rules upset the devs. Wait found out atlus is doing the 360 version
Never played a game where the boxes are more helpful? How dare you besmirch my precious companion cube?
hmmm, trine is easy but fun, frustrating but satisfying, its gorgeous but there's problems etc.... dude needs to make up his mind. he just keeps going in circles "it's good...but it's not" over and over
