I'd say it's very good for a racing-driving simulation game, but it's not by any means a genuine "need for speed" game. It's good for just another racing game but it doesn't deserve to exist under the name "Need for Speed"!
Well When People Go To The Bathroom They Are Making Some BrownThings It's The Same Of That I Never Thought That The Same Company That's Made Prostreet Well Do Something Like This It's Sooo Browny I Know That They Most Move Forward Not backward I Hate The Game I Hate The Graphic The Only Thing I Love Is The Reward But It's Sooo Sucks Game I HATE IT I Thought That Well Be Better Than Grid But Now Grid Is Awsome Even Drift IS Bad I Don't Know How To Say It Browny
I like how they split up the 'Need For Speed'-games into more Arcade and more Simulation. They probably realized they couldn't keep doing the same old tuner-car-street-racing-game. Still, I'm disappointed the original 'Need For Speed' is gone. I guess all the original creators are gone too though. But what I want to see is a simulation of street-racing with the ridiculous exotics and cars like that. I like how they made this one first-person though, I always loved that even in the very first "NFS"-games. Hated when they took it out in the "Undergrounds" and such games, but other features made up for it. They just don't seem to get the idea that you should put more features together. It always seems to be one or the other, or otherwise some new concept that they're not even sure of if it will be successful. Anyway, 'Need For Speed' WAS original, until they started copying first of all tuner-car street-racing, and then on to GT-racing. Once again, this is on tracks, I don't know where this came from, it's not typical 'Need For Speed'. Guess it's still dead then...
If it's made for the consoles, then the PC version will suck. Game devs no longer make games for the PC. If you like the feeling of a console on your PC, then go ahead and buy it. Consoles have ruined PC gaming and nobody cares.
Game looks cool, hopefully it has a true physics feel to it, That is what makes games like GT5 so much fun, not just beating your opponents but beating the track itself. I don't know how many hours I spent just learning the tracks so I could do the turns blindfolded practically.
does anyone of you guys hava any idea about the pc system requirements? im looking forward for getting this game. ...really awesome.
Whoever is giving everybody a thumbs down for liking the game is an idiot. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its bad. I'm not even saying its going to be good but give it a chance to fail if you think it is.
I agree with darzentas its going to fail but you can prove me otherwise. I'll stick with GT and ForzaMotorsport. I just hope the new Forza will do a decent job on dritfing like GRID which was very good even online.
is that gran turismo or the new need for speed??? cause it doesnt looks like the old need for speeds on the roads with the police and the extreme races on the roads..... the graphic design is cool the game play also but again this game its going to fail... this is my opinion thanks guys
Simulation? the steering ratio is very sensitive it's a car not Formula 1 each driver has his own driving style, why should we stick with the game's default racing line?
I am hoping for a mix: GRID's grafix(at least) gran turismo's mechanical tweaking, previous nfs titles body costumization
I look forward to this game and hope that EA can make another NFS like the original Road & Track versions.
im kinda wandering about how good online races will be because in past nfs games the online races have been really laggish
im not really into this arcade genre..illegal race should be more fun...nfs need to be more action in racing such crash time like burnout...that awesome.
I need to play a demo before i get any more need for speed games because they have not been doing so hot in the past few games.
I loved undercover, but this looks great too. Wheelman view is much more different than the view being behind the car, and this looks like an impressive simulation. The graphics look real. The animations look real. The audio is great. The physics look real. Cop chases were great, but its all really about just hitting the orange triangles then disabling their vehicles. Can't judge a game before it comes out, but i predict that this will be pretty badass
nfs needed this change in direction, come on we got all the police chase and everything in undercover and we hated it
that sucks! i hope they will combine nfs mostwanted+nfs underground2 concepts.. police chase,neons,hydraulics...mannnn thats a dream for every nfs fans...
underground 2 and most wanted were the best most recent...if they put those to games in to one they'll have a solid game this isnt even street racing anymre...but i hope its good why is the demo coming out so late
after this its hard to play a game like gran turismo. the driver experience is so immersive, its awesome. im wondering though how Forza's cockpit cam will be. if its as good thatd be amazing but I dont think itll be anywhere near as immersive as this.
@kakashi6666 thats what I keep ttryin to say. sorta. The whole race experience is amazing. awesome feeling actually being kinda sketched out about crashing because of the realistic collision effects in the cockpit cam. the cars feel just right too in my opinion. people should cut it out with the complaints that this isnt street racing. theyre doing several different styles of NFS now. theyre reaching out to everyone, a street racer will probably be out in a year or year and a half or maybe two... theyre workin on somethin for everyone so chillill.
IGN review was good, hope this is far away from that hip-hop, rap pimpin' crap and goes back to the old school. I stopped playing nfs when it went to the ps2 (underground was awful.)
This game looks very promising. I will definitely play this as i want some change after 2 years of letdowns from EA. Hope this game will hit hard this year and can't wait Corvette Z06 vs Dodge Viper Car battle!
@mariokazzi same here, i think it will they can't afford another Pro Street like failure but even tough it's on track it looks promising. and both handling and realistics look awesome. but they shouldn't push too far towards Gran Tourismo kinda games
