@lukeyboyo_37 Actually a lot of people that play the total war games, including me, would rather have a mod installed instead of the original game. You clearly haven't played one of the many great mods that have been made, you should check them out. Many fans actually love historical accuracy instead of fancy graphics and other features, including myself. Have a good one.
Indeed A.I. looks stupid like in first Rome. And other things i dislike are the egyptian-cartoons style icons(really who desing them? - was the best you could do?) and the new look of control interface.
By the way why can't you use the ships after the troops go ashore? In the real life and history the ships have a crew different from combat troops, crew who could sail, fire, maneuver no matter what cargo they carry: rum, oil, soldiers or donuts. Is someone thinking that a cohort would be able to fight after it paddle half of mediteranean sea?
@lionesss @harrysg1975 the problem is that i a have to agree with you . divide and conquer .stil happens .... everybody wants to drain out Greece with any way . its true : we are stuck in the past .At least i , we can be somebody in this tremendously fantastic game . Yours .....Harry
@harrysg1975 The problem with the ancient Greeks eventually became that they were too stuck in the past with too much concentration on their hoplite formations, not the mention the city-states constantly fighting and weakening eachother
There are quite a few games coming out in the next few months that I am really excited about. This is one of them. I hope I am wrong, but from watching this video, the enemy AI doesn't seem to be very intelligent. I hope they just dumbed them down so he could get a relatively easy win. I really can't wait for this game.
this is a much better demo of a battle and I like how ships and become ground units that's gonna be interesting. but can naval units transport actual ground units not just like the crew of the ship to battle anyone know how that's gonna work
@ragnar320 Well in the trailer it specifically says in text near the beginning "aboard these ships are some of Rome's toughest legionaries" So im assuming its not the typical crew.
@stev69 yea but they looked like smaller units and you couldn't use the ships afterward so do they have transport ships for regular ground units. im just curious because you'd need a huge fleet of 20 ships to attack a city or army that would be that big you know
@ragnar320 @SteXmaN clocked 500 hours on Empire, another 200 on napoleon. I hate to think how many I clocked up on the first Medieval and Rome. so looking forward to this going to be epic!
