Tony Hawk Ride Demo
Shaun McInnis demos the latest skateboarding peripheral for Tony Hawk Ride.
This looks fun, i just wonder how close the feel from the plastic skateboard joypad, is it to the real thing. Of course you're not popping ollies to get the board up, as that requires too much skill for the fun of a game. But I don't know, I may pick this up, because it's something different. But the game still looks way arcadey for my liking. Tricks look well late compared to the "Flick it" of EA Skate. But maybe this will give the skaters the indoor feel for what they crave on a rainy day.
@Pwnd56 I think Skate 1 was incredible but skate 2 sort of lost me because it really didnt get extreme change and the walking movement was like if you trying to get jerky to walk and the dlc on it disappointed me so i will hav to see how black box will improve it
@Dark5tar1 ??? y doesn't skate deserve another sequel? now, im not saying its better than this, i may get both skate 3 and this, but just cause a company is succsessful dont mean that its evil.
sasha i agree with you but what is wrong with these skate fanboys? You guys havent even played it. EA and the skate franchise doesnt even deserve a third sequel
Am I the only person that actually likes Tony Hawk games. For me its a good change, always playing FPS, TPS, R sim etc... I welcome anything that is skating related.(price is gonna blow but)
People thought Guitar Hero was going to fail.... but look at it now. Adding cool controllers = big sales.
Man I sure do hope Skate 3 isn't going to end up unpolished like the first 2. It probably will.. But if it won't TH will be completely doomed.
wow... i think activision needs neversoft back again to develop a tony hawk that has the same mechanics as the old ones. I would buy a remake of any tony hawk before AMERICAN WASTELAND before spending money on this crap of a game.
Watching this demo just confirmed for me that this is NOT my game. Trying to balance for hours on end in my living room just doesn't sound like a fun time unfortunately. I'll stick to a controller.
Tony Hawk games teach you that you can go anywhere without pushing off with your feet. Screw physics!
The graphics really suck; the flip tricks look like late flips; you don't have the freedom to chose where you go (the skaters look like they are into a circuit)... Besides I think the main idea is actually good. This game won't have a score over 8.0 but at least it is original.
o this is for all systems..... i thugh it was another wii gimmick...lol good lcuk. i prefer the controller in my hand. that y i plaay video games, im UnCOorDiNAtteD
im sorry but that thing looks like it would break long before it should. Especially with the overweight gaming population as it is.
this is actually a lot more interesting to me than the rock band, guitar hero, junk. i'd love to try this- seems fun.
