Hey there PC RTS guy....you wanna be my backup in The Division? My mom is gonna be making punch and pie.
This actually looks pretty damn fun. My cable company, here on Long Island, NY, put wireless internet on the telephone poles. So if you're a subscriber of their service, you get the wireless outside access for free. So I could be out somewhere, having my tablet in the car, and whip out my Nexus 7 tablet to rain fire down from the skies lol.
It's pretty cool that I'd be able to just pop into a random game going on and either cause havoc or be support. This seems like the best tablet/smartphone integration yet into a game. Finally smartglass will have a purpose.
While this is all good and well, devs should concentrate on the core elements of the game, not on fringe possibilities. While the users of phones and/or ipads will occasionally play a game on their device, those tools are used for business orientated goals, not for going berserk in a game like The Division.
Consoles and PC are where this is being played to the max, so see to it that the job is done properly for those platforms...
Seems like the players that don't have a friend playing on a tablet vs. those that will will be at a disadvantage.
This is amazing! Also offical announcment of the Pc version release and now I know for sure that I wont be needing a next gen console (at release at least).
@Vodoo Who cares? That guy.
@onuruca It's not just MP, there is coop.
@onuruca Oh, man... If you're not into MP stuff, you're gonna suffer a lot in this next generation.
@onuruca Not sure it has a SP in that sense. Don't quote me but I think this is sort of like an online only type game. Sort of like destiny where you can play by yourself but friends can drop in with you and the city is open and persistent. I don't think it has a general offline story mode type thing, though again I could be remembering wrong. :)
@JimmyJumpy Spoken like someone who doesn't have to concern themselves with business and holding on to market share.
@SavoyPrime Yeah, I remember them talking about that issue back at E3 2013.
@Havok007 I would also like to know that...considering that im currently holding a 6.4 inch phone in my hand which is basically the same size as a nexus7
@NeverMore0 then buy an xbox1
