the soundtrack by Amon Tobin is superb in this game...i still have this game instaled in my laptop and i play it from time to time...i dont like new games theat come these days...
@Hazzerz Apparently Gamespot uses the same post page for the Xbox and PC reviews. The Xbox version is down.
This was the most boring splinter cell of the series i think (mind you, I haven't bothered playing Double Agent yet). I think I even remember the "tilt" factor, which is the "fun factor" in the rating system of the OLD gamespot, was any 8, as opposed to a 9 or a perfect 10. I can't put my finger on it, but it's definitely less exciting than the previous splinter cells, or SC conviction
@ p4kman88 I disagree, I think Double Agent was an amazing game that was on par with Chaos Theory. That said, Conviction sucks ass, and it really represents an unfortunate turn in an otherwise excellent series.
waited ages for conviction and was just thinking how great this game is instead. even though it's advertising air waves in each cut scene. if they've gone back to a prince of persia like w.w then they might get back to the hey day of chaos theory. ubisoft you are d**ks
if you like stealth games you MUST GET THIS! I am not kidding! Go get it NOW! I have all the splinter cells and this is the best by far! Even better than the 360 verson! GO GET IT NOW! GO GET IT NOW! GO GET IT NOW!
I know it's also on PC and DS but I meant in terms of consoles not handheld games or PC though I am thinking of getting the PC version on steam.
I gotta get this game I got the demo and it rocked (PC) I also got a demo of Double Agent and I got bored before finishing it it was set in a battlefield during the day how am I suppost to hide in that?
I'm playing all of the Splinter Cell games right now (I'm in Chaos Theory now)... This is the best stealth/action game I have ever played... ^_^
i miss greg kassavin.. COME BACK. you are the best and the justest! now we have this kevin van ord who is not bad but i don t like his taste in games...
yeh i hope conviction isn't too action either, but i guess its purely optional, in SC1,2,3 and Double agent, killing and shooting and violence was frowned upon, the right way was the quiet killer way, i guess conviction basically says if you wanna kill everything thats ok, but if you wanna play like normal splinter cell well thats ok too....i hope thats how it is
haha most of that multiplayer footage is from pandora tomorrow schemerhorn level and they show a little bit of orphanage but it's funny that gamespot has to use stock footage from the previous game and can't even show the actual game in the review
Splinter Cell will always be one of my favorite franchises of all time. I just hope Conviction doesn't make it too action.
