One of the really neat things about this game is how it grants players who are losing additional support powers, instead of the other way round. It really gives them a fighting chance and increases a matche's length.
I only purchased a 360 about a week ago, this is next on my games list. :D I went out recently to buy this or Gears of War, but I went with the latter. I don't regret my decision because GoW is incredible, but now I'm setting my sights only on EndWar.
I really like this game, much more then Halo Wars and probably because of the voice commands. Looking forward to RUSE.
I borrowed it from a friend and I'm playing it now. Haven't gotten very far, though, and so far it's fun. Interesting concept, but hard to keep control of everyone when you accidently say something wrong...
Kevin vanord always does really good reviews and this one is great too but i think it deserved atleast an 8.5
At first I thought this game looked awesome when it's announcement trailer was released, and by the time it came out I was eager for some good old fashioned Tom Clancy action, strategy style! Strategy, being my favorite genre, is the type of game I really pick apart. This game is Fun, exciting and satisfying, even if its core gameplay sometimes feels stripped down. This review is 100% correct, it's a good strategy game, especially given that it's for consoles, but it's not the best for core gamers who love micro-management. 7.9 Out of ten.
i wish they wouldve taken this kind of approach to halo wars, not the voice command but the down in the action camera, that adds so much to the games feel
great game if a little lackluster in the staory department :p i'm suprised the voice command feature hasnt been adapted to some extent on other RTS games, I knw that console rts games in particularly could make excellent use of this as could pc based ones (though to a lesser extent)
Looks like a pretty cool game. I wonder why Asia is not apart of this World War 3. I am sure China and Japan would want a peace of the action. I may have to pick this up for my PSP.
Hopefully there will be many more RTS' that use the voice command feature. It would make you feel like you were actaully telling units where to go rather then clicking a point on the map.
sounds like a great game. gamespot really didnt tell how the the game deserved a 7.5. the guy made it sound like a 9 lol.
this looks like a tremendous strategy game, better than command and conquer even, hopefully they'll make a sequel for it, improve the little flaws and it'll be a 10/10 straight up yo
All people who say this game is bad are one of two things. A: They haven't played it, or B: A chimp could defeat their "Undefeatable Strategic Prowess". This game is very impressive, and while you may have to play some missions over a few times to beat them, it is very fun to send a dozen choppers to go and gun down a pair of fleeing tanks. It IS just basicly a more advanced version of rock paper scissors, but who says that age old game isn't fun? Trust me, buy this game without your personall bias against it, play it for 2 hours, and then tell me it is a bad game for the PS3. And by the way dark, EA is already designing a strategy game (C&CRA) and their games are less realistic than Ubisoft's.
Halo Wars isn't even out yet... And Halo Wars got 83% on Metacritic...End War got 77%. Don't base a game on one review. Base it on multiple reviews. But most importantly, if the games gets a 2.5, but you love it, it's all you man. Ares, I can see your are basing you judgement solemnly on gamespots reviews. That's just fail. But I really liked the demo for this game.
it is very fun at first but after u get used to using ur headset it turns into just and average rts i highly recommend renting this game
to all people that say this game is rubbish: Dont like it, Dont play it! easy as that. this game might not be fun for some (it's deffinetly fun for me), but it is deffinetly a good game!
