Might be a fun game if the character designs of the turtles weren't so horrible looking...especially the faces. They don't need to look realistic they're not suppose to.
If you watch Michaelangelos game play he seems to be doing capoeira, Raphael seems to be more of a wrestler/MMA fighter.
Why downloadable only?
The Turtles really need a good full-fleshed game that does the series justice.
There's no Turtle game on current-gen machines at all, as far as I know. And there's not many Turtle games in total either, the most of them being from the old NES days.
Looks really good! I like that the turtles look more realistic - about time!
Considering that Red Fly made Ghostbuster and Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2, I think this game would be quite fun. Ghostbusters was incredibly fun in multiplayer mode.
Not sure if they're overdoing the Batman Arkham Asylum combat effects too much but once in a while, the slow mo would good neat
So I'm guessing him dancing is the one and only allusion to him having any type of personality? Pretty sucky vignette...I'm not convinced that this game is going to be a good reflection of Turtle legacy.
The music was pretty good though
The art style still sucks, but looks better than the shitty Ubisoft games.
The series still belongs at Konami though. They made the best ones.
i like how the combet looks unique to his character (kicked a guy in the crotch, that's just like mikey's personality :D ) the turtles look "unique", which isn't a bad thing the 80's tutles were short cute but could only be distinguished by their "belt initials" (if you took away the turtles weapons & Masks you couldn't tell the difference) i like how they are developing to have their own "uniqueness's"
This bites, he doesn't even look awesome or cool, they had to screw with something else well here it is!
not all that impressed with this the original arcade version was and will always be the best had so much fun playing it.
It does look like they went for a more "realistic" approach with the character design. I'm not a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (not to sound like the rest is dislike--it isn't), but we'll see how this game fares.
Michelangelo always was my turtle of choice, though...
Sees Activision, Runs Away.
The first NES game, and the arcade beat-em-up game were the only two decent games released out of all these decades that have passed. It's a shame. TMNT needs to get special treatment, the way Batman finally got a proper title released after all the years of raw bat guano.
I guess I'll have to wait yet another 10 years and see if maybe something decent will finally be released then.
@Amir-turtle Ask and you shall receive. The Donny Vignette just came in!
I would have liked to have heard that at least once in the "vignette"...
@leikeylosh seems like they decided to really make them look like turtles.
@lilcurt1978 I know it's been a long time but this looks to me like TMNT Arcade with improvements
@Agent-M what's wrong with this one?
@Agent-M Turtles in Time.
@wgerardi I know right, they look more like turtles... wait.
Right because if wanted something realistic, we'd totally still be playing a game focused around mutated turtles that just so happen to be ninjas.
