Titanfall: Free the Frontier Cinematic - Gamescom 2014
The Free the Frontier saga continues to be the game that GameSpot wants Titanfall to become.
That was a really awesome trailer. I wish the game was even half that exciting. Maybe Titanfall 2 will be.
This trailer made me realize that Titanfall would be so much better if it went the Battlefield direction rather than remain in the CoD mold.
Switch to huge 64-player maps with Titans, pilots, player-controlled aircraft, and other vehicles, and you've got a phenomenal game.
"The Free the Frontier saga continues to be the game we want Titanfall to become." Who is "we"? Respawn or Gamespot?
Pretty Cool little Trailer and they say they won't make a story for the game ? see If Respawn didn't go to EA I would off considered buying Titanfall but because they did I have no interest in ever buying it.
Sorry Respawn I feel bad for you, You are in the clutches off the devil and for that your game will never be this trailer.
If this trailer reflects what the developers wanted the game to be...then i have to say they have failed. It's fun and all...but nothing at quality of the trailer.
Titanfall - best game to come out in years. It's a shame Microsoft haters aren't open minded enough to experience it.
That's the Titanfall game I want to play! Nice teaser for the next gen version coming to PS4 and PC.
You'll incur the wrath of 6+1sss
You don't insult the greatest shooter of the past 20 years
@Sevenizz Titanfall isn't even the best game on xbox one. It's pretty unremarkable. It has no campaign or story, it isn't worth half the price they charged, and it got boring in one day (at least for me) It does almost nothing new or innovative, but it does look kinda nice. Best part is that you can change the titan voice.
@Sevenizz Thats okay they can just wait for Call Of Duty AW.
@wookiegr If wishes were horses, you beggars would ride
@wookiegr ? What? Maybe I'm misunderstand your comment but that is exactly how Titanfall plays now. The only difference is that it will be on PS4 as well - maybe anyway. So, Titanfall on Xbox One is crap but, the exact same game on PS4 will suddenly be a game you want to play? Like I said, maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are saying.
Coming from you and your extreme obsession with this game, that's rather shallow and pedantic.
You vehemently defending or praising this game on every other thread foe months is just fkking weird.
@Sevenizz So then nothing's different...? That phrase isn't an answer
Titanfall is not 'crap' on Xbox - by any means. And there is no confirmation it will arrive on the PS4.
And everything in the video is in game right now as far as mechanics go. Although, I'm not sure why they're doing a video teaser at this point for DLC. Maybe cementing the brand?
How would you know that if you haven't been visiting the threads as well? Kinda hypocritical if you ask me. Saying I like a game in a comment section of the game isn't really 'weird'.
@Sevenizz Really? Mine talks to me all the time... Apparently I have to 'kill everyone'... be rude not to, wouldn't it, :)
@Sevenizz Tell that to Jeeves
Okie dokie, I think that response just about summed it up for me. Wasn't sure, but no doubts about that anymore.
@Sevenizz Or you know you could have just answered with "Nothing is different, they are just advertising the game" Cementing the brand is just industry speak for "reminding people that this game does in fact exist", and yet the article says this is "the game we want Titanfall to become", implying there are in fact changes/maps/dlc/something being advertised here. I will assume from your jargon that you disagree with my interpretation of the advertisement?
I hear ya. If you put a medieval game or a JRPG in front of me - I'd have no interest. But I'm not even a big shooter fan and I loved Titanfall - still play it regularly!
That's not what cementing the 'brand' means. Brand as in future games. Most fans of Titanfall already have the DLC so there's no point in promoting it and we already know the abilities shown. This is to reel in potential newcomers and showcase the quality of the franchise for potential future customers.
@Sevenizz It's the titan AI
It's definitely a good game, I just wish it could hold my attention for more than and hour or two. Hopefully the black market will help
If you've played Titanfall - you'd know it's HQ. Here's a few pointers for the next person you try and tell you've played Titanfall...
'Great - your Titan's been destroyed.'
'Pilot - your Titan will be ready in 2 minutes'
Kinda hard for a Titan to talk when it's not ready yet.
@Sevenizz WAIT WHAT? are you trolling? you can pick different AI voices for your titan and they tell you stuff like enemy locked on and what not.
Oh really? I'm wondering how I missed that. Admittedly I havnt played Titanfall for about two weeks so I had no idea
It's on the select Multiplayer screen and in between game menus. It should have the yellow exclamation mark if you haven't clicked it.
