Check out a The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct behind the scenes video with Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker.
Did you enjoy this video?
After what Telltale have done, everyone will have very high expectation on a story line.
Looks like redneck version of Dead Island..
v3ry v3ry good
only way the walking dead game would have a chance of being good is if it used the dayz engine. Well I mean arma2 engine, but u kno what i mean.. And single player only cuz cuts the performance in half. But yeah for some reason games after movies/shows seem to follow a divine prophecy of almost always being awful. I havent played it yet but i just have a feeling it is going to get like a 3.5/10 lol
MERL AND DERL!!!
I honestly have mixed reactions when I see these vids with voice actors/real actors/etc.. Should we feel bad for these actors. Or hate on them for accepting cash to spread a garbage product around and make it sound like gold.
THIS GAME IS BAAAAAD, GRAPHICS ARE FROM 2003, ALIENS CM AND DUKE FOREVER ARE GOLD COMPARED TO THIS TURD
holy shit i love the walking dead can't wait for this...as long as the melee combat system is at least kinda deep
<3 Michael Rooker's voice and acting, this game.. i dont think so, looks outdaded graphics and everything.. we'll see!
I can't front at all. The game is looking nice....Do people still say "front"?.... and does the question mark go before or after the apostrophy? "apostrophy is mitspelled with an "e" at the end isn't it? Dammit.lol
I love zombie games...that said I hope the final product lives up to the hype. However I'm sure it wont!
Now that looks interesting
I will play this for sure!
WILL TORRENT ON PIRATE BAY...WOOT!
The graphics look dimmed down, but very reminiscent of the Traveler's Tales games, in a way. I can't help but think that was on purpose, to create a franchise-wide look and atmosphere. However, I will say the lighting looks fairly excellent, but that could just be me. Combat reminds me of ZombieU, but with more ranged emphasis. I'm watching for sure.
Graphic is not everything, If the graphic is everything then i wouldn't be playing RE 4 and FFXI, its all about the gameplay system the acting and the most important thing is the story.
I think the graphics and gameplay look much better than i remember from the first trailer. I am cautiously optimistic. If it turns out to be an ok or decent game I will definately go get it being a huge fan of the show. It will probably suck unfortunately, but we'll see
At least it will have some good voice acting... I can get past the graphics so long as the gameplay or atleast hopefully the story are well done. Going to sit back and wait, but I'll probably play it anyway... won't hurt to rent it.
Even though the game has the 2 great actors from the series playing the roles, the game looks extremely mediocre, because of the outdated graphics and poor-looking gameplay.
love everything walking dead...the comic still way way at the top though ppl...
that's 2 strong characters. wonder if it's an commercial thing having Merle so small on cover.
This might turn out to be pretty good. I'm going to wait on the reviews though. I've been burned (Cough Colonial Marines) before.
@spindie Agreed...if the ARMA2 engine fixed the horrible inventory system, sound effects, character models, and body animation.
@spindie THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!!!
@Ronin893 Apostrophe = ' (one lil mark) Quotation marks = " (two lil marks)
the ? goes INSIDE the quotes. Nice to know some people actually care about grammar. Texting is dumbing us down at a tragic rate.
@Venom_Raptor I could look past the graphics but yeah, I believe the gameplay is going to be extremely shallow. Reedus says it's not just point and shoot, that you have to consider noise and gather things to survive, etc., but yeaaahhh I just don't believe that :). He probably didn't even play it, other than maybe some staff showing it to him and letting him push buttons for a minute :).
The poor graphics also make me suspect that they really don't care about this game being a good game, instead it's just to capitalize on the popularity of the series. They probably decided this was the best approach since they didn't want to spend ages in development and risk the show becoming less popular.
