empty promises, it will just be another mass effect 3 were all you chose in season 1 and 2 doesnt ammount to shit only silly cameos that dont do anything at all in the story.
If Black Isle ever taught us anything is that this is only possible for one sequel, not two full sequels (BG 1 and 2 and expansion)
I dont know if enybody noticed but at 2:23 the guy with the green sweter looks like on of Vernons crew
Ehm im little confused, so we play each chapter of 400 days with different characters or we can choose from 5 characters whom we play with in wich chapters ? I loved playing Lee all chapters of season 1, ofc there wasnt much of a choice to choose than Lee, but now it's little too much won't u say, jump from one character to another...
If I was in charge of the story, I'd have another main child who dies at the end and the main character in a later season, reunites with Clementine, thus giving them a relationship based on the experience of losing somebody important to them. Then again, alot of people may see that as retreading familiar territory so maybe their approach will be better, but I have a feeling, this season won't have a different outcome depending on your choices, just the same such as season 1, much to my dismay
In Season 1, I only disliked, that there was a linear way. Althugh You could make choiches, Your story differed only in keeping somebody else alive, or solve problems otherwise, but the ending was always the same. I know, it is difficult to tell a story otherwise in an episodic game, but I hope, they will do something abuot this...
heeeey gamespot, i'd like to see the stage demo for dark souls II but the link still leads to the live stream (which of course isn't running anymore). can u fix that?
I don't need a preview to know that I want to buy this as soon as possible. "The Walking Dead" season pass was possibly the best game I ever bought for a mere $20.
Is this included in the Season Pass? Didn't think they would have another episode so I didn't get season pass since PS+ gave me episodes 1 and 2 free, then the other 3 were cheaper than the pass.
I'm confused.. its the first I am hearing of this.
I can't wait. The Walking Dead was amazing. Even though it's focused on 5 new people I hope we still get to see Clementine at some point.
@Jaakko817 When you choose a character, and it places you in their timeline, which could be anywhere from day day 2, or day 369, if I saw correctly,
@RogerioFM Vampire Hunter D!!! FTW!
@Psilyocybin Busy being pirated.
@Psilyocybin Need I say more than Rome II total war?
@Psilyocybin laughing at all the hyped up kiddies over xbox uno and playstation 4
@Shepard_ There is nothing to do. If all choices led to completely different situations, each choice would double the remaining hours of the game (that is if we have only options to choose from). By the end think of how many different roads would you have. If the game is 10 hours long and you make the first choice after the second hour, it means that the developer needs to create 2+8+8=18 hours of content if there is only 1 choice that you have to make in the game. With two choices (2nd after 4 hours): 2+(2+2)+(6+6+6+6) = 30 hours. I think that paints the picture of how much content would there need to be.
Even if hundreds of gigabytes sized games (for long games with many choices with many options) would become acceptable in terms of disk space and computing power, developers would spend years developing a single title. Or a technology that well.. simulates life or fate or what have you, would need to be created...
So I'm thinking it's pretty nice what Telltale games have accomplished so far. Can't wait for the next season.
@RaveNRolla Wait for the video controls to load (takes 10-15 seconds for me) and then jump to 4:16:10 (about 2/3rds in ).
@PayneKiller I don't think it is. I think the season pass just covers the first five. One of the other articles/videos from day one on this suggested that. It seemed like it would be the same price as the individual episodes.
there is no spoilers. You are safe.
@bicelis @Shepard_ I see Your point. On the other hand, I did not think about all choices differing the main happenings, I would be satisfied with one difference per season. Like, if You have to choose between saving two people. They would for example say different things and in the end a game would differ a bit from the other line. Although I would be happy to see an addition like that in the next season, I think Your right, because every episode is based on the other, so it would be difficult to make it. That's why I said: "it is difficult to tell a story otherwise in an episodic game".
