The Waiting Game - Call of Duty: Ghosts
Can't wait to get a dog and use it for war? Neither can we. Until Call of Duty: Ghosts launches though, Johnny's got some stuff to keep you busy.
So South America invades the U.S. in this one? They're really running out of ideas. But I guess when you're playing the top Shooty Man game, realism doesn't matter.
lol, to get ready waiting for call of duty ghosts, you can try all other call of duty games, which are the freaking same shit.
i remember playing the first COD on the PC. i put the difficulty up to max so that if felt like a more tactical shooter. however, if was too tedious. COD4 was one of the best games of the last gen. it caught everyone off guard. i recall how unfashionable COD had become when COD4 came out. however, the hype kicked in and activision rinsed it for every penny after that. i play all COD games on "veteran" only, they're worth playing if you like FPSs. but they've been massively dumbed down over the years since COD4. Spec Ops on veteran on MW2 was pretty cool. but otherwise i keep asking myself whether i should consider skipping this series out of principle.
thats something COD (even search and destroy and CS) and Battlefield havent addressed fully yet. The extreme importance of keeping team mates alive. Something that could be revolutionary to FPS gaming . Like if a squad member dies, you lose something or theres consequences for the whole squad if a member dies. It would make it more important to keep your team mates alive not just yourself. Something id like to see more of in FPS games. Left 4 dead 2 does it a bit (probably better than all the rest really), but it could be pushed further. Something to make you really feel that a member has died and you should of been there. Some kind of overall reputation bar for each squad that has benefits if you all stay alive. Something to make you feel gutted if a team member dies.
Waiting games for Call of Duty ???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, i don't think i ever laughed that hard in my life before.
I understand that sometimes hype or higher-ups dictate that games such as CoD: Ghosts demand the spotlight for regular, reoccurring segments such as these.
Having said that, is it really worth going through with these segments if you are seemingly more excited about the things we could be doing while waiting than the ACTUAL game we are -apparently- waiting for?
-A Sort-of-Concerned Gamer
This game looks fun, but it also looks incredibly mediocre compared to the recent releases of GTA V, Batman Arkham Origins, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed IV. And with next-gen consoles on the edge of release in two weeks, there are much better games to buy than this.
You're a bunch of haters. I can tell you now there is alot more people who love cod than people who hate it. CODs record amount of fans see it is a competitive and fun game (multiplayer anyway) it may be a short time between releases from the two studios who work on the game but this is a good thing for the fans.
What games do you haters play anyway? I bet you hate on all the games...
Call of duty is like a michael bay movie, but at least you can pretend that you are playing. Even final hallway 13 is less linear than calladoody.
I was just wondering if there are wild animals either in this game or BF4, which can attack you while you're battling each other in the jungle map or other maps. That would be a cool idea I think, if they don't have it already..
oh yes, another generic shooter, just like the one we couldn't wait for 2 weeks ago. Can't wait on this one either !
What dogs? The reason we purchase this game is because of fish AI that reacts to your movement in close proximity. This is ground breaking stuff right here.
@axl159 lols i know right, probably a blooper reel somewhere in their archives i bet
@sahandx360 "It's cinematic and always fun " that's why you and millions others like it friend, myself included
@nyran125tk There's absolutely no fucking way I would go on terms with this concept. If I want to play alone or cooperate with other players, it should be own God damn choice.
@nyran125tk sounds cool. but imagine the flaming online if that were the case? works with your friends but with all the idiots online it's a different story...
have you tried DOTA?
I, for one, am amused.
Also, if you haven't heard this already, you don't have to watch this if you doubt its worth.
@Jacanuk lots of people unfortunatly
@aus_pride i see what your trying to do there. but like everyone else on this site you must be aware of the sales figures for COD. so i don't think your joke is very effective.
@jessie82 No, they pretty much never kill dogs in games. or children for that matter. It's really a shame. . . .I'm guessing the dog will live. Unfortunately I will never find out since I'm not sure if I'll begetting ghost, and even if I get it I will probably not play the entire single player.
@remics You should not let the amount of people that play a game effect how much you want to play a game, niether should you care if others dont like the game you play. Dont let popularity be a guide to what is good and what is not. Be your own judge and say what you like about the game, not what everyone else likes or dislikes.
Enjoy your game when it comes out, and dont give a fuck to what anyone else thinks about the game you play.
@Diegoctba just pray you don't get hit by lag out there tho
@Diegoctba nothing more hardcore than no respawn
@Gelugon_baat I was referring to Johnny. Not myself. I'm saying that HE seemed more excited about the distractions than CoD: Ghosts.
Considering that the entire concept of the show is predicated on anticipation, I would consider this episode as serving against that original purpose.
I can't exactly blame Johnny for not seeming too excited for this game but because the concept of anticipation for this show starts with him, perhaps another game would have been more suited for this week's episode.
I know that. I don't see anything wrong with him regarding the other things as more exciting to him.
