Aside the obvious biggest problems with this game and EA, my biggest concern by far are those overly saturated colors! Especially the grass, it's... psychotic :S

And that comes from a guy who really likes vibrant colors and shiny stuff!
And I don't like the texture of the grass... It's really worrying.

Graphically looks pretty good. Keep in mind....that's all what it seems to be going for. We'll see though. EA may surprise us but considering all the features being taken. Most likely not. I'll wait until it's on sale.

"The Sims 4 - It's more than a feeling when it comes to emotions and relationships."

The Sims 4 - It's more than a feeling when it comes to emotions and relationships. Yah its a micro transaction filled full cost retail game with a premium subscription that leaves a ton out of the game at launch and expects people to fork out far more then its retail release cost to get a half done game.. EA may ya rot in hell greedy arses.

Hmm yeh you will be able to "play" the game, your laptop just meets the minimum requirements funnily enough. This means you have to play the game at its lowest settings. You have a decent cpu, which is going to be useful for this game as it use a lot of cpu power, but graphically you will be unable to take advantage .You may still get slowdowns even at low settings.

Next time you get a laptop be sure to get an independent gpu with it.Those integrated intel gpus are terrible for games. Yes they have improved, and are a lot better than they used to be( a few years go buying an integrated gpu meant you couldn't play new or even newish games at all).

They have improved enough that they can get your foot in the door for the games that don't push the graphical envelope too high. However, if you want anything more  and want more than a foot in the door ie actually in the house, with your feet up and a beer in your hand,  you need a real gpu.

Sims 4 is luckily not a  very graphically demanding game (its more cpu dependent) , but every other game that's coming out will be unplayable for you.

@Sorugue @Sohaim Most of the "everyone" you speak of will probably be strapping on their eye patches, and pirate hats and heading on out to the bay.

@Sorugue @Sohaim  Guess we will have to wait until 2nd Sep and after to find out. Sims 4 is dumbed down so those with low end can enjoy it.

@Sorugue @Sohaim i am not everyone, plus i never bought Simcity 2013, even when it went on sale, same goes for this,i will not buy it,also the series did not change that much from The Sims 2 now its just milk milk milk milk, and now i dont play it anymore since the sims 3 base game and i only have the Sims 3 because my wife loves it, i will not support this greed, plus my wife has alredy calmed down when i told she was not going to be playing this with valid reasons, unless she takes my credit card and buy it herself, this game will never be withing my library.
