Ya i thought this game was fantastic... why is it only a 7.5 when other shittier games are a 9 or greater. WTF Gamespot, you take bribes?
a great game butchered by the scores it got non of the things the reviewers did not like is game breaking and people are bloody idiots who bought ass-ass-ins creed 2 insted we would of got another saboteur game by now if they bought it
This is an excellent game with tons of things to do, a great story and an very beautiful Paris. The idea of going from B&W areas to colorful free one is just terrific. The music is excellent. It's a bit unpolished unfortunately and the climbing controls are not that good. Not like on the master of this category, Assassin's Creed. Still it is memorable. It really leaves a sign while other games are easily forgotten as soon as we shelve it. EA had to support this game better, it could become a master piece. Still I strongly suggest it to everyone. Even my 6 & 9 years old nieces love it!!
Got this for ten bucks wish i would have bought this earlier it's a really fun game seems like an accurate review
I love when they add in random stuff to games, like racing cars through the streets in a FPS. Good times.
Beat the game yesterday, reviewed it today. Could have used a two or three cases of polish, but it was still fun nonetheless.
This is the best game this gen imo. People are lame and hype up games that suck. I've had alot of fun with this one.
i thought the stealth elements in this game were awesome once you get used to them. killing the generals was always good fun
After Playing this It has alot of Similiarties to Just Cause 2 and anyone who enjoyed this will enjoy Just Cause.
I reallyyyy don't know he's talking about, the stealth, while having /some/ problems, works fine, and it's really easy once you learned the tricks. Enemies are only alerted when they see you kill someone or if you act suspicious, and if you plan out your movements, it's easy to take down an entire base without an alarm. Sneak up on a lone nazi, snap his neck, steal his uniform, and you're good to go stealth for an entire mission unless there's a scripted escape scene. Silenced pistol= no problems.
One of the most underrated games I ever played but I understand the criticism it gets because some of the mechanics are broken at times but it's one of the funnest games I ever played and the story is really good
It's not that bad. Sometimes the game is messy and gives problems to distinguish stuff in black and white, but it deserved an 8.5 at least
I'm not sure if the b/w effect would get on my nerves :/ Oh well, still looks great fun. KILLING NAZI'S!!!! :D
I think that the reviewer gave it a 7.5 because it isn't so original as a game. If I can interpret GameSpot's phisophy regarding ratings, any game that mimics another original game, whether this game was GTA 3, Devil May Cry, Max Payne, or God Of War, this new game scores minus 1 point. Otherwise, Saboteur could easily had scored an 8.5. Anyway it looks very good as a game, so I might play it in the future.
Well your dropped in to France dressed as a civilian, your doing one thing and one thing only, killing Nazis. Kinda sounds familiar...
I'd like to get the game, but heard it doesn't like ATI cards. I have two 4850s in crossfire. Anyone have problems with it using ATI? Has a fix been issued?
Of course it's under-appreciated, it's an open world game with cars and guns that doesn't have 'Grand Theft Auto' written on the box. Games like this are always underrated
@StratRevolver He might just be a poor gamer, I was surprised to hear the Stealth isn't a viable option.
Sure it is, but it requires skill and patience. I rarely get detected and I'm playing on hard.
Still not as bad as Kevin VanOrd
@slainta I agree with everything, apart from the climbing being better in AC.
I find the climbing in this game far easier and you can even see where you're going when you're climbing. In AC I just feel like I'm jumping around at random.
@Tetrarch9 Not true, I love this game. But I find JC way too boring, there is just so much traveling time in JC ... it breaks down the action.
@FreakinRay You're so right.
It's very easy, but the silenced pistol is a must. Perhaps Mr. McShea didn't see the pistol for sale-
