A glimpse of the future: "Now That's What I call Music Volume 92! Out now for iTunes and music games."
@Unheard-Volume: Harmonix did not revolutionize the rhythm genre because drum mania, guitar freaks and karaoke games. If anything they fine tuned the rhythm genre niche games and turn their concepts into something truly amazing. But with rock band they revolutionized how friends can get together in one room and all have fun playing what instrument they like all at once.
They should put this rockin Halo remix on the game...it kicks... http://ocrwip.fireslash.net/?fid=202
Harmonix does it once again! They revolutionized the rhythm game genre (if not created it) with Guitar Hero, and they revolutionized it again with Rockband! They are now finally breaking down the lines between video games and other forms of entertainment!!! Now musicians have more avenues to sell their music! This will greatly benefit the music industry as well as the video game industry!!! Genius pure genius!
Holy. This is real user generated content. And, even though you made it, the game company doesn't own it. This is really yours, you bank off of this. Sooo tight.
Epic. Harmonix knows how to revolutionize the music game genre right every single time. Rock Band owns.
Amazing. Looks like a fair amount of work to get a song converted but hopefully bands will put in the time to do so. Not really cost effective but could be a good distribution point for getting word out.
